Baldur's Gate III Announced - ...and it's coming to Google Stadia and PC

Killed Yurgir by telling him I’d explore for him, told Astarion to calm down and let me plan, de-befuddled his panther thing and convinced it to work with me, than snuck up behind Yurgir and Sneak attacked him from behind. Dude died before he got a turn.

Now I’m gonna go kill a bunch of rats.

Why play as Wyll? There are no bicycles in Fae'rûn

Because he's a goodie two shoes and I thought it would be funny to reverse roles.

I actually did the opposite with Lae'zel for another playthrough. When I started the game, I found Withers ASAP and immediately respecced to turn Lae'zel into a Devotion Paladin. After that, I was as nice as I could be to everyone I met and made every non Githyanki choice I could. It was pretty funny in the long run, although the only downside is the game didn't acknowledge the fact that I was basically acting out of character the whole time.

Okay, now I AM asking for advice.

I just got to what I’m assuming is a portal to whoever the Nightsong is, but I got one of those “advancing warnings” before going in.

Is there some general advice on what I should be sure and do before going in there?

If you haven't gone to Moonrise towers, do that as some quests there auto-fail when you go there post-Nightsong. This really is the point to wrap up all of the Shadowlands and Underdark. It's basically Nightsong -> Moonrise and on to Act 3

Explore and do absolutely everything you can before going through that portal. This is a major inflection point as far as what you can do and where you can go afterwards.

I had the opposite problem when I first played the game, mostly due how horribly designed the quest objective markers and descriptions are. For example, you'll be tasked with saving quite a few people from Moonrise Towers, but not everyone can be saved or found during Act II or before Nightsong. The game will not tell you this. So imagine my surprise when I'm scouring every corner of Moonrise trying to find out where Mol was taken or where Duke Ravenguard is only to find out I'm wasting my time.

You can't save Ravenguard in Act II, so ignore that quest.

The fact that you just stumble across Mol in Baldur's Gate was also baffling. For the longest time I was thinking she must've died and I failed the quest because of some bug or because I just couldn't find her. Then she's just...there, in the sewers. And your conversation afterward just amounts to, "Oh, hi Mark."

Lol lmao

So, uh…interesting bit of plot development. I appear to be in a relationship with both Shadowheart and Laz’eal without being made to choose between them. At least, at the moment. Didn’t think you could do that. But maybe it makes you full choose in act 3.

Its way easier to kill him in his room. Also he drops some good gear
Oh, I figured. I just found it really funny how he died. Fell over, then only managed to stay on the platform because his leg caught on the ground. It’s an undignified death and it’s very hilarious.
