You should see Skyrim. But honestly, all ya gotta do is toggle nudity off and viola. Not to mention the Romance elements are very very easy to ignore or reject the NPC wifu from attempting to bed you. I think I killed most of the origin characters my first go around and just stuck with three. Look, it's your right to not buy a game because it has sexual content in it; I'm just saying it is a very small portion of the nearly 88-126 hours of game play; it is probably .001% of the content. I only know this because I'm a completionist. I haven't 100% a game or attempted to do so in years.

Patch 2 dropped, fixed some bugs I hadn't encountered but thankfully given us a way to kick party members from a multi-player campaign. It'll probably be a while until they adjust the dice rolling mechanics running in the background of the game, which is fine. Haven't had much problem with the game which is refreshing considering my last anticipated game was Cyberpunk and BF2042. I hope all studios start focusing on quality rather than quantity.

I brought a fire sorcerer, a cleric with buffed radiant damage and RedditGirl with her bonus fire damage.
Everything was immune to fire, and reflected radiant damage.

Luckily Hope could tell a demon a turn to fuck off, two if she was hasted.

Each ignores the first three attacks, so start with a magic missile barrage or the like.

Hitting them removes a stack, so if they have a bunch hit them with something like magic missile or any multihit attack. There's a known bug where it never ticks down no matter how many times you hit them, if that's what you mean.

If that doesn't work, turn the boss into a sheep first then throw him to the edge and have someone else shove him(if you're too far to throw or shove him directly).

So I found out that you can actually come across Us the Brain again near the end of Act 2, but there seems to confusion on if you can have him as a summonable companion only if you did the brain poke or not when you first freed him. Does anyone know if you have to do the initial lobotomy on Us to fully recruit him later?

They're not that different from the old Baldur's Gate or Forgotten Realms novel characters but they are more sexualized for sure. BG3 actually did the lore of the Forgotten Realms setting justice, though and the characters fit in well enough from my perspective.

I spoke to Ed Greenwood on twitter and he seems pretty thrilled by how the game handles the setting, and apparently they nailed Elminster pretty solidly so I'd say the game is really faithful. Also remember that despite WotC trying to sanitize the Forgotten Realms (and even breaking a contract they had with him that legally gives him the rights to the setting back!) the setting is not prudish by any means.

I did NOT poke the brain and he was willing to join the party. I explicitly decided to not do it because I wanted to test and see if you had to. The only reason to poke Us is so that you can decide to kill the little Intellect Devourer running around the ship and the Mind Flayer if he turns on you (via killing the Cambion Commander with the Everburn Blade). I'm sure if they had kept the prologue uncut and longer there would be more reasons to poke him.

Also, I want to say that Baldur's Gate 3 might be my favorite game of the last decade, maybe even decade and a half. It scratches an itch I've had for years while also being full of nostalgia - I played Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1&2 (The Diablo-style hack-n-slash) with my father as a child and watched him play Baldur's gate 1 & 2 so seeing Minsc, Jaheira, Viconia DeVir, even though they totally character assassinated her in a bullshit way,Saverok, who they derailed the character development of in a boring ass way, and Edwin, who has basically all-but been confirmed to be pretending to be someone else named Lorroakan. makes me very happy. 10/10 music, fucking love the Shadowfel theme and the Ketheric Thorm's boss theme.

The only game I've had more fun playing than these CRPGs is Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and the only game I've been more hyped about than this are the various Project Tamriel and Tamriel Rebuilt releases.

Well, after over four full days of playtime, I've finally finished my first campaign.
An incredible game experience, that surpasses even the Witcher 3.

Spoiler: Ending spoilers: Lae, SH, Khaz, Gale

pLae'zel had a very satisfying ending, neither she nor her legendary prince were squidified, she got a red dragon and a real chance of liberating her people.
RedditGal solved her heart problem, though she eats brains instead of soul coins now. Hopefully Omeluum might come up a solution.
Gale has a new quest for the crown, Shadowheart gets to live happily ever after with her family, as the noblestalk helped her wound.

I've uninstalled the game, as want to enjoy it with fresh eyes after several more months. It's good some companies are still putting in the effort to create good games.
Bugs wise, I had one CTD when I tried to take out Aunt Ethel's last mushroom by stealth, but otherwise it has been pretty reliable.

I pre ordered the baldurs gate 3 digital deluxe version on august 19 2023 on the PlayStation 5, it says I have a little less than a full 24 hours before I can play it on September 2 2023 to play it early before the September 6 release date because I preordered it, I heard about it being released on ps5 sometimes in late July it feels like waiting this month felt like forever because I really want to play it. I played baldurs gate 1 and 2 back in the year 2000 on the pc, then I bought the baldurs gate 1 and 2 for the PlayStation 4 back in like 2019 and I also got it o the switch too back then just in case I wanted to play it in a different room.

On august 6 2023 I bought baldurs gate 3 for my pc but it simply wouldn’t play. My computer isn’t fast enough I guess. I got it refunded on steam and been waiting for the ps5 version
