@Baraadmirer Thanks for the tips on AC and such; it looks like Paladin is going to be my class of choice after all. To be honest; when I mentioned "all-around utility", I was thinking more in the combat-sense - like having options for ranged, melee, magic, etc., - though the dialogue skill checks is still really good to know, so thanks! Being able to talk out of a potentially bad situation - and get some potential information - is a real good thing, even if it isn't always my style.
Also, the Guidance tip is rather helpful; any help is appreciated, and it sounds like Guidance is going to be very useful.
Another good tip. Thank you.
Seriously, why the hell are the wokeshit attacking this game, again? From what I remember, it really did seem like a game that would be right up their alley; did the game fail the increasingly-ridiculous-and-insane purity spiral, or what? Legit question.
Honestly, same; I usually avoid randomly killing people in RPGs - hell, I don't even do it in Dark Souls and Skyrim - but BG3 is really looking like the game that'll break that habit.
EDIT: One last question - my apologizes everyone - which Oath do you guys recommend for Paladin? Or, is the Oath system still broken, and I should just run Oathbreaker?
