Baldur's Gate III Announced - ...and it's coming to Google Stadia and PC

Wait, why are people complaining about a lesbian couple in the game? Like there was already the gay Deep Gnomes couple when you go to find True Soul Nene. And the lesbian Deep Gnomes too.

Are the Act 2 lesbians just more preachy about it or something?
They can end up in your camp... so... yes.

You know, I don’t trust the Gith in this temple or the weird dream lady in my head, so I’m conflicted on what to do here in terms of the device. And this one seems like a big choice too.

It's not very impactful.
If you decide to enter, be mindful of the permanent -2 stat that the character get if not careful. It will not be very obvious so examine the buff list carefully. There might be a very good buff as well, making all your squid abilities cost a bonus action instead of a full action if you let someone else enter first.

If you're just musing, it would better serve the thread to make the choice and discuss with us it's consequence, if you so wish it.
If you're asking us to make the choice for you, that's peak soy reddit and you should stop.

They are more in your face and are intertwined with the good/neutral playthrough.
They're also a bit cringe.

That being said, I can't wait for my Durge campaign, where I WILL FUCKING STAB EVERYONE IN THE FACE.
I'm also gonna play a Rogue Duergar, because a manlet nigger has 2x the school shooter energy.
Btw, on this topic, based on the stats Larian released, people will play with better looking races way more then those that are mechanically better. For real, Duergar, on paper, are insane with the bonuses they get, but ain't nobody gonna RP as a niglet.

Mainly musing aloud to better decide what to go with. Helps me make the decision.

ESIT: I went with not giving up the device to the lady in charge because I wanted her sword for Lae’zel. Still trying to decide what to do once I reach the Inquisitior.

It’s funny, because I’m intentionally playing a character who doesn’t touch the tadpole powers, but I keep making it stronger when I’m trying to get it removed.

Última edición:
Got some questions about the Moon Lantern. I know the main way to get one is by ambushing Kar’niss the drider and his party, but I let them pass and then went to the inn. I stumbled upon them again while wandering around afterwards and they immediately became hostile. Fight quickly went south so I reloaded.

Now, I also know you can get a lantern by either going straight to Moonrise Towers or by siding with Kar’niss instead of the Harpers and asking him to give it to you. I helped the Harpers out when I met them fighting off their turned friend, so I think I’ve locked myself onto their side.

As for Moonrise, I hear Kar’niss and co. are blocking the way there, and I assume this is why I triggered a fight with them. Is there no way to avoid this? I’d prefer not to have to fight, but it looks like I missed my chance to talk to Kar’niss. I did see someone say they avoided the fight by Misty Stepping to Moonrise, though, so I guess I could try that.
Scrach all this, I got a lantern by just legging it to Moonrise in turn-based mode. Didn't encounter Kar'niss at all.

I also managed to protect Isobel during the attack on the inn, my party members were able to get a bunch of hits on Marcus before he could do much.

The one of them is fine, the other is a immortal paladin with severe autism. You talk to the one about their relationship and it's some daddy issues but she's fairly normal. You talk to the other and all of her lines are pretty much "I tire of our conversation, now if you'll excuse me I need to MAKE OUT with my HOT GIRLFRIEND." Just comes off as Chris-Chan's self insert if he could actually be trusted to keep his self-insert somewhat grounded in the setting.

It isnt.

She is the daughter of a one of the most powerful Gods in Faerûn and spent hundred years in the Shadow realm by herself. She going to be autistic.

Give Nightsong to Lorroakan and he can imprison her again and use her to keep himself immortal.
Also they are subject to the Larian Act 3 curse so you can just let them sit in your camp and not talk to them because they are completely irrelevant to the plot outside of that quest in Act 3. Which is what I did because the only thing worse then having a Chris-Chan sitting in your camp is trusting an elf

Speaking of lesbians, the ones on tumblr have discovered the hoebag vampire.
If the people who created that lil' fucker ever feel like an imaginary brick is being hurled at their heads? That was my doing.
So many gifsets. So much art. It's boring now, stoppit.

Man, I really love this game. It's not perfect, and I could do without some current year horseshit, yet despite it all, it is a great fucking game.

Those that have been here, know what's all about.
Those that don't, trust me, it's one of the greatest fights and places in the game. And the fucking OST is just... * chef kiss *.

I found it hilarious you get a straight up Disney villain song during the fight
