I've been on a prog-rock bender as of late, and I came across this early 80s album from Uriah Heep. I'm digging the music, but what really told me to buy the album was the cover:

It's so fucking hideous it's adorable. I want one of these as a pet. I could name it Sebastian and feed it Pomeranians.

As much as I love Nightwish their album artwork has never really impressed me. I was thrilled to see that their latest breaks the pattern.

However, the artwork that comes in their booklets is consistently impressive and I'm always left wondering why they don't use this shit for their covers.
