Yes to the pad, most women will wear a pair of panties over to hold it in place. You are encouraged to wash the Garment regularly whether male or female. just like you would any other undergarment. We are supposed to practice good hygiene.

They can but they will be excommunicated. This actually was happening with BYU students in the 70s but didn't last long as they promptly learned there is no rules gaming with the commandments of God. For reference you will not necessarily be excommunicated for premarital sex, or even adultery (though it is likely in the case of adultery). This is seen as a mockery of the Holy Covenant of Marriage as well as a violation of the Law of Chastity.

@Roboute Guilliman - I'm curious about your thoughts on the following. One of the tenants of Mormonism is along the lines of "As man is god once was and as god is man will be" indicating that man will eventually become a god of his own little earth.

If I'm understanding that correctly then according to Mormons the earth we are on was created by - and ruled over - by a man that is now god. Where did that man come from? Who was be before becoming god? Should humans be worshiping the one who created him/ascended him to godhood instead?
