In my opinion when they start switching over to the uglier flash animation. You'll notice how the characters look more awkward when they move around.

Switching to flash animation has been a cheaper alternative to doing things on hand in the world of modern day animation, and changing to flash varies. It can look good or it could look like a steaming turd. Arthur's change to flash animation is, as a final result, the latter. Just mediocre looking compared to its traditional animation roots from the mid-90s through the entirety of the 2000s

I agree with the point that it was only done as a cost cutting measure in Arthur's case. Perhaps its just me, but I happened to notice that not only did the newer episodes visually look different, but the writing somehow felt different as well. It's like coincidentally when the visual style got worse so did the plots and the scripts.

The first time I watched one of the newer episodes I felt like something was missing. It's hard to explain exactly but it lost what makes an Arthur episode special.

I'll always remember what Arthur used to look like and felt like in the 90s and 2000s. Not only the animation, but the writing and characters (apart from being simple, especially this is an edutainment kids show) were soul.

The way the characters move in the later seasons actually makes me feel dizzy. I’d rather watch the stiff flash animation of the Simpsons and Family Guy over the puppet flash animation of Arthur.

Same. Sure the animation for The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama and American Dad have gotten worse throughout their respective entire runs, especially when they switched to Toon Boom or Flash, but even if the animation for these four shows from either Matt Groening or Seth MacFarlane have looked stiff and, even at times, uncanny, at least the animators didn't move the characters like marionettes compared to what Arthur had become by the early-2010s.

I now find myself in the unusual situation of wanting to find Arthur and Cyberchase torrents for all seasons pre-2010.

I'm really concerned about the accessibility of appropriate children's media in the future and that hoarder's instinct is kicking in hard.

There still are Arthur and Cyberchase episodes on YouTube and Dailymotion.

But knowing that Cyberchase is still going on long after its peak makes me wonder if a griefing thread is appropriate for the show.

I've been feeling exactly the same. I've been torrenting a lot of old cartoons I grew up with. I already own all my favorites on physical media, but I feel like I need to preserve those "lesser" cartoons as well. They seem like masterpieces compared to the woke CalArts crap of today.
