Mediterraneans aren't white, and Spaniards especially aren't due to that whole Moorish invasion thing.

If you want to refer to the classical Romans and Greeks they also weren't white since they really didn't resemble much of their current racial identity. 3000 years of strife, migrations, cultural shifts, state changes and other things that affect demographics means large center of civilization can't really maintain a singular racial identity like that. Its just not practical. That's why to find the origins of specific races anthropologists always have to fly out into the middle of absolutely nowhere and test some dude who probably doesn't even know what a light bulb is. You need a pretty untouched group of people to maintain a "pure" racial line.

In general it would be most accurate to say that none of the ancient races have been preserved in their original form, and of those originals I would hesitate to label *any* of them white.
 
My hideous abomination of what constitutes white is as follows: All ethnic Europeans and European-descended peoples (such as Americans, Australians, and Afrikaners of clear European descent), along with some Christian enclaves in West Asia and North Africa. These populations were either white by nature of being European or descended from Europeans, or they are genetically and culturally similar to the ancient populations of those areas, who were typically described as having distinctively European features.
