The moment you hear "detox" you know it's nonsense - ask any company to send you a list of toxins that their drink/powder/whatever is detoxing, you won't get one because "toxin" is not a thing in nutritional science unless you literally mean a subcategory of poison.
Various roots have anti-inflammatory properties and all kinds of chemicals found in foodstuff can be beneficial or detrimental to organ function if regularly ingested.
No one thing individually is likely to turn you from a fat slob to a picture of health.

But still, all that aside - drink ginger tea. It's good for ya.

Don't be a retard OP.

Get your apple cider vinegar from your homemade salad dressing, with olive oil and Dijon mustard.

@VinegarPussy do you have anything to add?
That dressing sounds amazing. Maybe add a sprinkle of ranch powder to it. If you choose to drink ACV, make sure it has the “mother” in it and dilute it in some way to avoid irritation of your throat.

Those things are good for you but they won't make you lose weight.

I can tell you the secret to losing weight.
Crack
Eat less food, eat better food(meats, vegetables, nuts, fruit in moderation, no goyslop), cut out sugar and don't replace it with some kind of sweetener, exercise

That's how you lose weight. Everything else is bullshit.

I don't know about the 'tea' but I've definitely known people who swear by apple cider vinegar for weight loss who've seemed to have good results with it. It's a non-sodium electrolyte so at least in the short term I can definitely imagine it helping you shed a bit of water weight without the side effects of low electrolytes if you're fasting/crash cutting. Personally I bloat up massively (8-10 pounds) depending on how much salt I've had in the last day or so, just a fast food meal is all it takes for me to hold a good five pounds of extra water, so if I completely cut salt from my diet for a bit I can drop quite a bit but I get really bad cramps which vinegar knocks out basically immediately

Apple cider vinegar is good for diabetics since consuming it half an hour or so before a meal will plateau an otherwise spike in sugar. Hate to link to a YouTuber as my source, but aside from hearsay by relatives it's the most concrete evidence I have.

Been doing apple cider vinegar for about 6 months now. I feel like it helps a bit. I've been dieting working out for 11 months and I've lost a ton of weight. As @Grub said: Just eating better is the real trick.

>Eat more fruits and veggies
>Cut out soda and booze. Don't drink empty calories
>Don't eat fast food or processed instant slop
>Cook your own meals
>Just walk for 30 minutes a day
>Drink more water

Dieting isn't hard. Don't jump on any meme fad diets. Just make simple, lasting choices that will benefit your health.

It's incredible the convoluted schemes that people will come up with to accomplish something so straightforward.

Although turmeric is supposed to be pretty good for you in general, consider just taking it as a supplement instead of in a gross vinegar tea.

>Cut out soda and booze. Don't drink empty calories
I guess that must be one of the bigger causes of fatness in the US, because even if someone's a little overweight, the amount of solid food a person must eat in order to get really fat is pretty excessive.
2000 calories a day is actually a good bit of food...unless you're drinking liquid calories or eating a ton of carbs/sugar.

That's the only way I can think of for someone to be able able to take in 3000, 4000 calories a day without being physically ill constantly.

It tastes goddamn awful if you drink it straight and makes you not want to eat.

So...appetite suppressant?

Wasn't this a big dieting thing like 20 years ago? I remember a lot of celebrities drinking it and calling it a "detox". But it was just disordered eating. It was that lemon vinegar cinnamon ect... concoction that was supposed to detox your body. Robin Quivers was into it. It was all over the women's magazines. It just seemed like an anorexic potion to me.

Yeah there's a whole genre of celeb ED cover diets. Same with Master Cleanse.

Taking a shot of ACV in the morning helps a lot with digestion. Make sure it has the Mother (yeast) in it.

I also like to make what I call snake juice, and it's just vinegar, lemon juice with a tsp of potassium, and sea salt in a 2 liter of water and just drink it throughout the day. Tastes like ass, but damn does it help if you work outside all day in the summer time. Especially if you can keep it ice cold.
