Which means that it's bad.
Looking forward to your review of Kagurabachi episode 1 next year.
Don't even bother, it's "talking shit about MHA o'clock". Some regulars apparently hatewatch anime, because you can't have any positive opinion about anything that is not GiTS, Berserk or Dragon Ball
Black Clover should be popular here too then.

Joking aside, I watched episode 1 of Red River. It feels just like watching a 90s anime in a good way. You can tell the budget is tight (it is barely animated) but it looks good enough and the music is great as well. Just one episode and the MC has already kissed two guys and almost becomes a blood sacrifice. Peak shojo bullshit, will definitely keep watching when I have time.

Saga of Tanya the Evil was not a show I thought I could get into watching but I did so I welcome this new season - one of the high points of the show for me is Aoi Yuki's performance. The sudden swings from girly voice to "makes subordinates gasp in fear" voice amuse me.

I know josh hates anime and would never ever ever ever ever watch one but i really believe that if he gave anime another chance he should watch youjo senki, the musics great, the story's fun, alt history stuff and theres no real weird japano shit going on besides the main character being a 10 year old girl but I (unless I'm memory-holing something) cant remember any sexualized scenes or any character making weird sexual remarks (except gorbachev, but making communists pedophiles seems like someting josh would enjoy)
That's not Gorbachev, thst is Lavrentiy Beria renamed Loriya. He was a predator, though I haven't found any info on the age range, so maybe he just liked to kidnap adult women irl.
Edit: He was apparently fond of young women but did not mind teenagers.

So he was not a dedicated pedo, just more any hole is a goal type. He was a total scumbag.

Última edición:
He was mocked and disowned for choosing the heavy knight because the class is known to be horribly flawed,
He didn't even choose the class, divine whatever bestowed said class on him.
The current arc in the manga makes this comment about classes being given according to the 'nature of one's heart'. Thing is I can understand why they'd not want a heavy knight even if they knew its capabilities(and considering that the MC's broken build is basically just a glass cannon that needs to be on low hp than it is an unstoppable tank, if only he'd actually bothered mentioning that) considering how House Edvaughn seems to be entirely focused on massive firepower. And the father's kind of reasonable if hard headed later on, but it just had to be the go to setup for an isekai plot complete with the father losing his composure and speaking in Japanese in one old scanlation that fucked up that speech bubble.
