That's ufotable for you. That's all modern audiences really care about, if it's got flashy animation and visual effects and a floaty camera, it's literally the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Want a nice counter to that? Watch Shigurui. Really trippy, but paces out a scene like the old samurai movies, kindov like Kenshin but with 0 honor. Just finished it myself; note it ends on a Berserk style cliffhanger.
Combination of everything, probably.
1. Manga deviating from the original webcomic plot by a large amount, mostly for the worst.
2. Constant redraws that further slow down the pace the manga comes out and reduces investment because there's always a chance the last 5 chapters you just read are gonna get retconned out of existence.
3. Shitty, rushed anime adaptations after the first season.
First point kills the interest from the webcomic readers for anything else, second one kills the interest from the manga readers who are willing to accept the first point, and the third point kills interest from the anime watchers willing to ignore the first and second points.
Nah, the mango is good and the redraws are cool. It's ballsy to be willing to throw out whole issues (or arcs... sometimes repeatedly) for a better end product. Makes you wonder how often other teams are forced to just charge ahead with shit they regret. I mean not really because we've all seen how many great series are nearly or totally ruined by some bullshit they pull near the end due to poor planning.
Yeah the ninja village time loop of redraws was a little surreal, but at least they're sharing how the sausage is made instead of going O MY GLASS BACK and taking a hiatus for a few years when they have a creative block like most authors. You can always just pretend that's what's happening, situation normal. Or read the webcomic. It's an adaptation, who cares.
It's nothing new to fans. Season 1 of the anime was a very neat bonus, but it was already meh from S2. So now that S3 shat the bed entirely and became cool to hate I don't really care about people being suddenly impatient. It's like they've never read a manga before. Read something else and come back in 12 months. Maybe there'll be a new Made in Abyss chapter by then.
The end product doesn't exist yet so we can't know if it's actually going to be better. And fuck that shit anyways, I hate having to constantly reread shit because the mangaka's ADD flared up again for the umpteenth time.
If you need to rewrite an already published piece of an ongoing series, you're a failed author. Either plan ahead - even if just a little for some guidance - before starting or just wing it the entire time and take the hits that will come. You might change your mind mid-season, but it's better to correct course midway than pretend shit didn't happen.
Also, OPM is a funny joke going for too long, it should have ended already.

Not even to mention the sheer amount of memes, it's a cultural touchstone for my generation we all love how ridiculous it is.

Level 2: Force big mistakes into part of backstory. Look like a fool.
Level 3: Base entire arcs on tiny mistakes, making you appear like a genius planning everything years in advance.
It's an adaptation of a webcomic. It's fundamentally a rewrite.
And it's digitally published. Call it an experimental format.
Nothing stopping them sitting on One and Murata's back-and-forth for three months and throwing the rejected pages in the toilet. I'm glad they don't. But the point is, this has been the process the whole time. Nothing changed besides the anime becoming a meme.

Just started reading "The Noble Student and His Cinderella" so far (35 chapters) it seems cool basically a guy marries girl that took care of him after a coming back from his uncle after 6years (he is 18) and it follow their relationship (dont worry they fuck after few chapters so no forever blueballing)
