Sounds like the stuff they had on Nick's Pinwheel back in the day.there was this program back when i was a kid and we had no cable, about artistic shorts and stuff like that. they put this one several times and always loved it, but in my mind it was way more romanticized: the castle was a big ass castle, it wasn't the desert but a beach and the whole creatures making the castle was totally erased, again, in my mind.
there was another one about 2 kids playing, a boy and a girl and then this dragon appears and takes the girl away. it was all done with cubes, wooden cubes, on stop motion. so if someone know that one please share it, i'll appreaciate it.
