The fact that Batman's female rogues gallery almost universally consists of women who look like brightly colored pornstars is surely a coincidence.

I can't be the only one who finds it disturing that the HorrorCow "Russian Deadpool" had a poly relationship with women calling themselves Harley and Ivy.

I suppose the fact that privilege is basically low key power application and Female supervillains blow it out of the water by being able to do pretty much anything they feel like if their isnt a superhero there to stop them is totally lost on them?

Bruce Wayne acts like a shallow playboy but he's still ridiculously huge into charity and philanthropy. Generally he doesn't act like a douche, just flakey and irresponsible. (I couldn't say what any current iteration is acting like since I stopped reading long before Nu52, but that's still been fairly consistent.) He's rich, handsome, women adore him, and he does good and gets out of the house in both identities, so it's not exactly a shock that Dobby hates him.

If you get jealous of success, fiction is the worst place to look to. Our heroes are better then we are in as many ways as possible-precisely because they have so much further to fall, or in the cases of ordinary people becoming heroes, can climb so much further than we can.

Not that Dobson understands the basics of storytelling...

:offtopic:The only major differences now is from his character development from "Batman, inc." onward where he gets called out on his loner shtick being counterproductive bullshit when he's surrounded by people. So he's back to being more open about his friends and working with them to cast a bigger more effective net beyond just Gotham. Detective Comics is focusing more on this side of Batman right now.

Dobson's dumb macho brute Batman is so far removed from the character that he might as well be talking about something else.

It doesn't matter because Batman is still a muscly man that punches people in the face and that's wrong. The only thing that's right is lesbians! strong, empowered womyn and womyn of color who can take down evil men and white people lesbians!
