It's obvious that Japan has different views on what is considered inappropriate. Anime like Naruto and One Piece are seen as family entertainment over there, while here they get a PG-13 rating because our standards are different. What is Dobson trying to accomplish by constantly bitching about Metal Gear? Does he think that one day, Kojima is going to look at his tweets, magically change his mind, and say, "By golly, this ugly Care Bear reject is right! Quiet is sexist and I and the entirety of Japan must change our problematic shitlord ways!"?

I'm sure if some foreigner bitched about, let's say, Steven Universe and how the Gems don't fit their views on how women should look and act, Dobson and the other SJWs would flip their shit.

An old Tumblr, http://syatameme.tumblr.com had a post that gave a clear example of Dobson's mindset on the matter.

When the comments on his art was still open and he was makig SYACs sperging about sexism in the comic industry, he got into a huge argument with some European fans because he talked about the US comics as though they were the only ones that mattered, when he could've said it was strictly a US issue.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Dobson, despite all claims of him that he is not some generic neckbeard, is the american stereotypical nerd incarnated. I know this sounds condescending and I apologize towards everyone who does not fall in the stereotype, but in Dobson's case the picture of the uneducated american idiot fits quite well. Only this idiot is also a nerd and takes the comics of his country ridiculously seriously. In the meantime, the european market actually tries to dig into different genres and sometimes less fantastic storytelling than the comics about caped crusaders. Don't get me wrong, I love american comics myself. But I grew up in Italy and Belgium and as such was exposed to quite a lot of different comics and stories over time. I could go on how entertaining Spirou and Fantasio are or how wonderful some Mickey Mouse comics by italian artists in the 90s were for days. And don't get me even started on Lucky Luke, Isnogoud and a ridiculous spanish comic that is about german WW2 soldiers at the front, which sounds racist as fuck, yet is utterly hilarious in how idiotic they are.
And the funny thing about some of these comics? Dobson could actually try to ride on their style to sell Alex ze Pirate.
Not kidding. Some european comic artists like Franquine actually worked a lot with drawing punchline comics and rather generic fantasy settings. And they were a huge success. If Dobson had decided to rip them off more than he already did and tried to market his shit to a more european audience, ome european kids would ahve probably made it more succesful on the net than it was.
 
I'm starting to think he's truly exceptional. He can't do a mundane entry level job, can't draw funny animals right, and he's incapable of making one coherent argument.

Is he legit retarded?
 
Guys, if you ever get pissed off at Dobson, just remember that you're not a sad, egg headed fatman who has completely wasted his potential and has absolutely no future as an artist. Let him wallow in his pathetic existence of sucking up to SJWs and jerking off to lesbians, blaming other people for his failures that are entirely his own fault. We'll just sit back and laugh as he withers into less than nothing.

Unless we get another thing like the Korasami engagement we will likely not be seeing art for a while.

Maybe crappy Miiverse art this weekend for Splatfest (cause an "artist" who spends his days sperging on Twitter is totally an artist) given the science/art theme.

But alas, this is his obsession at the moment: yelling at the wall that he's right.

Err his Mario Maker levels are "art" he stated earlier that those were included as work funded by Patreon a few days back.

His artwork next month is a performance piece where he orders a large Dominos plain cheese pizza and plays Splatoon for 8 hours straight then jacks it to some of the girls he follows on Twitter before crying himself to sleep.

MGSV isn't on the Wii U so it's a completely different situation, if Kojima had just shipped a Wii U version this whole nastiness could have been avoided.
