Man, with all the fucking Splatoon bullshit he does, why doesn't he just become a Let's Player? He would literally make triple the money he is right now if he recorded his vidya time and posted it on Youtube with Adsense.

He'd have quite some views, but more like Chris-Chan got a lot of views with his stuff. Not since people take it serious or enjoy it for it's content and ideas, but rather to mock and laugh at the manchild.
Also, take a look at his Patreon video and listen to his meek, frail voice... could you really watch a commentary to a video game with such awful naration?
Also, he'd be constantly be using the videos as a soapbox for his own shitty views on topics noone cares about or he's just using to fit into some SJW-group.
If the platform allows criticism of any sorts Dobby won't do it. Plus he has zero personality. I'd rather watch Chris play Sonic than Dobby play Splatoon.
So only now, do I notice that his bear avatar is not sticking his finger into his mouth like he want to gag. He is rubbing his chin. Shitty art is shit.

Because he lacks the staying power to stick with the game. Believe me, he'll have forgotten Splatoon in three months (and then six years later he'll be back to talking about how those theoretical Splatoon haters were totally wrong).

Dobson't entire understanding of the world by far and large centres around convenience.
His haters are immature, uneducated, racist, sexist, irrational trolls that either hate him out of jealousy, bigotry or some weird reason Dobson can never fathom.
Why? Cause it's convenient for Dobson to think so, lest he'd have to face the rather uncomely truth of his own faults rightfully pissing of people.
So he'd never trouble himself thinking about it like that. Splatoon is the most awesome thing in existence when it needs to be. He can just toss it aside, ignore it and come back to it, claiming it was always dear to him, when it fact, it wasn't. Or he can just ditch it entirely.
Whatever fits the bears needs best...
He probably really only did earn a dime. That's actually a realistic depiction of the dude who literally came to see him just to see what a loser he was.
Nah, the best solution is to just man up and deal with it. It's like if you own a store, there will be shoplifting, breakage, people getting to much change back etc etc. It's unfortunate and you can try to minimize it but at the end of the day you just have to accept that waste happens because this isn't some SJ utopia.
Besides, is his Patreon some super sekkrit klubhouse? Are you only allowed to go there and view his stuff? Wouldn't you get more patreons if people saw your stuff posted on their fb feed and thought it was good? Could it be that he deep down knows his art is shit and that he's more or less a fraud?
How the hell is he even gonna grow his fan base? "Oh hey, it's that blue bear that does nothing but bitch on Twitter. I want to be a part of that, fuck yeah!"
Bitching about a measly 100 Patreon bucks, what a knob. What's that, an extra 8 hours of regular work each month?
