Nope, anyone with a miiverse account can comment on whatever Dobson does.
Not sure if he can block everyone who says anything remotely "not good" though, since there's a limit to your friends list, I ignore if there's a limit to how many people he can block too.

I think you and Foltest (and others) are both right. Dobbers's art was far more technically competent a few years ago compared to the shitshow it is today, but it was never particularly interesting or original. But he's lost technical skill over the years and replaced it with more self-indulgence.

Basically whining about the evils of ad revenue businesses and how dare they want to make a profit.
Additional fun! If memory serves me correctly, I think I read somewhere that the company he was complaining about was Hiveworks (admittedly, I haven't seen his stuff listed under their directory of comics or affiliates currently, so who knows).

Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure most of that money goes towards paying for stuff. Like, say, for other companies to let you advertise their product since there's probably thousands of other companies like that want to do the same.
Basically in business, there's rarely any such thing as a "pure" profit. Not that Dobson knows anything about that.

As usual it's hard to tell Dobby's point beyond "Stuff happened to me and it pissed me off" but the fact that the kind-of-a-Jew takes a single coin out of a sack stuffed with money seems to imply Dobby feels he's entitled to more money. Which makes his whole "look at that money grubbing capitalist" shtick rather flaccid.
