Lesbian Kick Dobson called her out on DeviantArt for ruining his Christmas (she was Jewish). She did it out of the kindness of her heart since he was far from home. She even said that posting that on DA was a dick move. I feel really bad for her.

Kojima doesn't fucking care, and that's why he's so amazing. I love all of the racism that is inherent in critique of this too.

Dobson telling people to stop being sexist makes me so mad I could burst. The fact that his ego is inflated enough for him to believe that he's not a hypocrite astounds me. Someday someone is going to pop him in the face for being so smug. Hopefully things won't balloon for him any worse than they have gotten.

In one of Dobson's rants, he was upset that his girlfriend's family didn't celebrate Christmas, since they were Jewish. He then posted it on DeviantArt, which led to her finding out. She wasn't amused at all. She told him that if he had a problem, he should have talked to her instead of posting it on a site where other people can see it. Not sure if it's still up though.

The only way people like Dobson will accept a progressive character is if the character says something like "I'm not like X, you fucking misogynist." They have to explicitly state how they are progressive and must subvert the traditional roles in the most obvious way or it does not work.

I'm not too familiar with Kojima's work, but if this character made some comment about how she was sick of all the misogynist males that got in her way and that it was hard for her but she got through it, Dobson wouldn't care. In fact, it would be better for him because then he feels okay with her being fap fodder.

I faintly remember Dobson being angry over not being able to stuff his face with christmas-related food and it being boring or something.
