I mean, I have zero interest in Angry White Mass Shooter Simulator 2014, but at least I'll know to avoid people who have it in their library. It's like seeing a dude wearing a fedora with cargo shorts, or a white hippie with dreadlocks. It lets you know ahead of time when you don't want to talk to somebody before they say a word to you.

This is kind of creepily reminiscent of what ex-fans of Dobson tell him in his comments section. "I've lost respect for you." "You're in over your head with all this mean-spirited SJW business, your comics are bitter and uncomfortable." "I really miss seeing your old cartoons, why don't you stick to that?" "Don't let all that hate fester with you."

I like how he's implying it's not the ONLY reason, as in he doesn't deny it's one of the reasons. (The other reasons I assume are he likes to hang around with gal pals and also feel self righteous)
I asked Dobbs how often he uses social media and apparently it's no longer than 30-40 minutes a day, I'm not sure if I believe him:

Don't know if this has been brought up much but I've noticed Dobson gets very pissy over the lack of same sex relationships in cartoons (i.e Korra, Adventure Time, etc). For example he's obsessed with this "korrasami" pairing and got mad at Cartoon Network for censoring a same sex kiss from the show Clarence (even though I'd heard nothing about that at all) and recently got mad at Disney for censoring a scene from Gravity Falls (well more like changing it during production) where a female character holding another female character got changed to a male character.

I mean he bangs on about how CN, Nickelodeon, Disney and the like are cowards for not daring to do a same sex relationship in any of their shows......it's not because they are cowards, it's because the moral guardians would pounce on them like crazy. And also because some countries where these shows might be broadcast in forbid gay/lesbian material completely

Of course, if he knew jack shit, he'd know that half the time it's not because "EBIL REPUBLICAN EXECS HATE JUSTICE" but "China and Russia can have an entire NETWORK banned for showing an lgbt character on a kid's show and they're not gonna risk losing an absolute shitton of money for it that could tank half their shows." Heck, even the creator of Gravity falls said he'd love to do so (and in GF fashion hides little bits in, such as the Love God's groupies).

I don't know why but generally gay/lesbians are popular with lolcows (Lesbians for men and yaoi/slash (Gay) fan fiction for da female lolcows), maybe because it's "Safe" (No other JERKS/JERKETTES to ruin the fantasy)?
Even Japan has caught on to this and has PG rated anime shows with lesbian overtones aimed at what I assume is the otaku audience. (Sorry for going off topic but before that they had cutesy slice of life "All female" shows like Lucky Star (A-Log used one of the characters as an avatar for most of his YouTube videos) and Azumanga aimed at a similar market and I have a theory that MLP has perhaps unintentionally tapped into that demographic)
It's a little different for Dobbs though since I can't remember seeing a straight guy obsess over male pairings before so I have to assume its:

One of Disney's live-action sitcoms did have a same-sex couple appear recently, a couple of married mothers. But, yes, I agree that for a guy who says he's for gay rights, he can't portray homosexuality in a light that isn't mature (lesbian kick, etc.). He reminds me a bit of Seth MacFarlane in that aspect.

He's the example of a shitty ally for LGBT rights. He supports them but has no idea how to properly do it. So he just vomits out stereotypical depictions of gays and lesbians while shouting "I'M HELPING". He'd only change enough people tell him how to appropriately depict these kind of charac-hahaha who am I kidding. He doesn't listen to anybody unless it's going to get him positive attention and china.
People like Dobson are the kind of people that will completely change their opinions of things if it will get them loved, not because they have personal thoughts and beliefs in the matter (same could be said for a fair share of SJWs). If overnight, a majority of SJWs just gave up on fighting and went to live normal lives, he won't play the lone SJW and keep fighting. He will confirm to the increased majority opinion that "SJWs are dumb" so he feels appreciated and doesn't have to fight anybody by himself.
