Do you really think, we live in a world where every problem ends with a shared laughter and a 'Sonic Says' segment? It's no wonder, that you can't tell even the shadow of an compelling story, if you try to dodge any chance of encountering pain or bad feelings - even in fictional media.
Addendum:
At some point, Dobson said that he would ditch the idea of a love triangle between Gypsypirate, Lesbiankick and Doormat... for one thing, the idea it was supposed to be a love triangle is hilarious. Lesbiankick and Gypsypirate just abuse the shit out of Doormat at every turn, treat him like a buttmonkey and yell at him (or worse) when he dares to actually stand up to him. On the other side, Gypsypirate is constantly being harassed sexually by Lesbiankick. Literally what the shit.
And Dobson is now dropping this idea (which, admittedly could have been the only saving grace of the entire comic, if done competently), supposedly cause it gave him the prickly-wicklies.
So yeah, you're pretty much spot on.
Uh Dobson? You don't have the slightest clue, do you? She's a fucking villain, of course she needed to die in order to advance the story. That was the whole point of the villains in that season of Sailor Moon. I gotta wonder how he felt about the other deaths that season.
Come to think about it, what other solution would there be to get rid of a villain? Retirement?
Nah, I bet Dobson would go the "Villain joins the heroes" route - aka: the most kids-friendly, asinine solution possible.
The villain realizes he was wrong the entire time and thus ceases to be an asshole and just joins the "good side".
Kind of like what Dobson wants with his "trolls" and "Haters" to happen.

It's so fucking off model. Holy shit.
His armor is so clunky and graceless. Compare it to the original design, the lines are much more flowing and elegant...
Is there some rule you can't use reference material for inktober or what?
