personally I think that Dobson may have not intented to be racist when he decided to make her a rat hybrid thing. I think what went through his head (seeing how the idea was even up long before he went to art school) was that he wanted to make a "cat" girl like thing, but then he decided to give her mouse ears because that is cuter or he remembered the saying of rats leaving a sinking ship and that is it. And he black skin is just a byproduct. That said (and without trying to now overcriticize/sperg about the man, but rather the idea) the thing is kinda dull/bad as an idea, because based on all I have seen, Dobson never properly explored what her being a rat hybrid means. Like, can she talk to rats? Are there other human/animal hybrids out there? It is like with Talus: instead of making the character's existence also something on which you can do indirect world building, you just give it as a meaningless attribute to the character because it is supposed to be wacky. It has even less impact on her than being a lesbian, as being a lesbian (supposedly) explains why she is a pervert around Alex.

Also, I consider there to be a better thing about this wallpaper now, than that it exists. Mostly that fixing patreon apparently removed the function that prevents non patreon's from seeing his artwork.
So everyone now shut up about that, don't tell him, lets see if he finds out on his own sooner or later and see if something lolzworthy comes out of it without everyone sperging like crazy or falling for bait.

Dobson is definitely a lolcow, but only really when he's producing art. There is very little to be had over being an unfortunate soul that has to slog through his obnoxious and by-the-numbers tweets to find something good.

To a degree, I have to agree. By this point, his tweets are a dime a dozen... Unless they're him flipping his shit over something no one else would give a damn about in the real world.
