Since Andy hasn’t posted any videos of people hurting him illegally like he has before then I’m going to have to believe that he finally is getting that help. I was really starting to see how unfair and abused Andy truly was when he posted videos—especially conversations/arguments with local organizations and/or Tom and/or Joe—but now that he’s stopped posting them, I’m starting to think maybe it was fake all along? If Andy posted a new video, perhaps the alluded-to recorded phone call with APS (mentioned in the recent video with the woman who didn’t want to be on camera, with the cops in the kitchen), then I would know for sure that he needs that help and doesn’t fake and is abused by his father and brother.

Exactly, when he was there calling the cops pigs I knew it came from a place of deep pain and I sympathized with him, if only a little. I was starting to believe but now without any proof I don't know anymore...

I recently rewatched the one hospital meltdown where he shouts for the car to hit him and then falls and immediately starts to bang his head and we're lucky enough to have it be barely on camera, complete with blood on the ground after. I have to give him credit, whether he intentionally tripped or not, immediately headbanging without pause to commit to the bit is the same level of improvisational commitment Deaglenation had with his flipped car.

Now that he's living by himself he's throwing fits, he's suicide baiting, he's crying to everyone and anyone, claiming he's not just retarded but has the mind of a destructive 2 year old. he's throwing everything at the wall and nothing is sticking.

With what was provided, Dr. Santa Maria diagnosed him with schizoaffective disorder. He is known to construe tests to try and get an autism diagnosis, but no matter how hard he tries, it always comes up as insufficient symptoms. It's possible that Dr. Santa Maria wasn't aware of HCPD, but given that Andrew doesn't usually start throwing tantrums unless he doesn't get his way. And since his parents didn't tell the full truth about what is going on with him, that's another case.

Psych isn't my exact area, but I've never been 100% convinced of him having schizoaffective. I understand what most likely led to that conclusion, but I think it requires believing that he himself actually believes he has the conditions he doesn't have. He may have some delusions of grandeur (most cows here do) but it's harder to pinpoint legitimate delusions he's displayed consistently. It's been very plain to see he doesn't have autism, doesn't have an intellectual disability, learning disability, delay, speech issues, or any functional issues to speak of, but he doesn't seem to actually believe he has them either.

From my understanding, schizoaffective would require a mood disorder as well as some schizophrenic symptoms like delusions or hallucinations of any type. Mood disorder is an easy one to check off, but schizophrenic or psychotic symptoms doesn't fit for me. The "issues" he makes up match with potential shizoaffective: Bouts of depression, loneliness, problems socializing, problems functioning on a day to day basis, problems working or going to school, problems with personal hygiene and self-care, self-destructive behavior, erratic behavior, unusual patterns of thinking and speech. The big kicker is a fixed set of beliefs that do not change even when evidence on the contrary is presented and they are proven false. If his doctor told him "Andy, you do not have autism, and you are not incontinent." And his repeated response, in his baby voice, was "Yes I do, you are aboozin me, send Amdy to gwoup home." I can see checking that box next to "Delusions" if you didn't investigate further or realize these aren't delusions, he is just lying.

So really I'm saying if you have better information than I do, please share!
