Any decently experienced cop has had waaaay worse than Amdy in the back of their squads. If he has a warrant for a minor misdemeanor it's probably not extraditable. The charging jurisdiction would have to pay to bring him back if he's arrested somewhere else, and so most places won't extradite for petty offenses. It sort of functions as a banishment - the defendant knows he won't be picked up on his warrant as long as he stays out of the jurisdiction, so he stays out, which is what the charging authority really wants in the first place.
