Whenever she goes on her "I've tried x,y, z, blah, blah and none of it works" rants I get close to raging at a cow. Half-assing something for a day is hardly "trying". I'm sure she'd somehow find a way to fuck up doing meth.

She has alluded at least once to "eedeeen" whatever she wants and not living past 40, and I firmly believe that's her plan. She's such a trainwreck that living a long and healthy life is less appealing to her than orange chicken and a slow, humiliating death in her 30s. She's chosen Becky as the lucky sped to nurse her through her last few years. There's nothing in her future to look forward to; it's going to be the way it is now until she croaks.

I wonder if she doesn't understand the dying young portion of it. Not really.
Lots of young deaths are very quick. Heart attack, overdose, car crash... you get the idea. I don't think she realizes that she can still be fucking miserable for a long period of time and then die young. She doesn't realize that her knees can blow out, that she could be immobile enough to need pee pads, that she could have complicationsfrom diabetes, etc.
