Where do you get this idea Amber can be sent to her mom? Her mom doesn’t want her.

Because she said on her last rants on twitter that her desired destination is to visit her mum soo from there I conclude that idea (seems that i am not the only one with the same conclusion)....

I am wondering the same. People are suddenly acting like her mom has a legal obligation to take her.

The thing is that since she is mentioning her quite a lot lately people are assuming that the best for her is to go and live with her mother perhaps her company and family support could help with her problem.

The main thing is why is she mentioning her quite too much on her twitter when in the past her family was quite a banned topic everywhere..

with her, all has a reason now we have to discover theorising which one it is

They don't have to find anyone to send her to, but if she's on the lease they'll have to go through an eviction process to eject her if she won't leave willingly. Apart from that, when the lease renewal comes up, they could all just decline to renew and move out, leaving Amber alone with her stench and garbage.

The not renewal part is the best solution in this scenario, the thing is: since she was the last in arriving in that house they might feel like they don't have to do anything and she must have to leave... as they did with becky's Ex... the difference here is that becky's ex wasn't morbidly immobile and Hamber is... also the fact that now Amber is too big to leave anywhere at this stage, when she moved to becky's she was much much smaller than now and she was able to move... now she is just a pile of fat that they don't know what to do.... now if it is true the rumours of her possible leg amputation.... if before she was immobile... now will be impossible to kick out to that house....

The thing of the social worker I assume happen because as all of us know when you are on your teen years the binge eating is most common for the amount of energy we burned..so is a kind of normal thing (at least in Spanish) that some one tell you that you are binge eating or eating to much as a warning but not as a diagnosis.. I think that happened with the social worker.. she could tell her the binge eating thing as a warning but not as a diagnosis (plus the binge eating dissorder was included on the mental health I'llnesses recently and the social worker told her that at the 90's decade) so starting from there I can conclude that amber took that on her mind heared somewhere on TV that was an eating dissorder and since she is pathologically a depressive narcissist and likes to be a victim all the time and it's not able to take the responsibility of her acts took that excuse as truth because was convinient for her blame an illness for her conditions instead of her messy life.. so maybe some people surround her told her that the behaviour of eating to much was called being eating...

There are physicians who oversee ED recovery programs, but as far as being diagnosed with an eating disorder, it would've been her physician, a psychiatrist, or other mental health professional (depending on their location, some therapists, etc. do have the authority to make psych diagnoses)

There must be some angle to her totally shunning BED all of a sudden, and I'm pretty sure I know what it is. Weight loss clinics that specialize in getting people qualified for surgery do not want eating-disordered patients because the surgery is more likely to fail in terms of long-term weight loss goals; and with BED in particular there's the possibility of the fatty blowing out their new gut and dying.

That's not to say that people with BED never get approved for surgery, it happens. But it's one of those things that these programs don't like. They are also likely to deny people who smoke, for example. It depends on whoever the surgeons are that are working in the program. For a time, part of my job was processing claims for this kind of shit.

They can smack whatever label they want to on Amber to describe what her issues may or may not be, but it's clear our dainty gorl needs some kind of treatment because she sure as hell isn't going to do a damn thing for her own good. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she were diagnosed with something that has an impressive name not just because she has a diagnosable, illness but because giving her a named illness will make her feel like a special snowflake. At the end of the day that seems to be what she really wants, if for no other reason than it gives her something to blame her failure to get her life in order to date.

I am most than amazed how she claims to be literate and its not at all, she does not know the name of a psychologist (she call it the doctor that gives therapies) psychiatrist (she calls it the depression doctor( nutritionist - dietician or GP (eating disorder doctor) honestly her ignorance amused me for being a person that according to her study and read to much...

in another hand you are most than right i know a case where the person was wanting the weight loss surgery and her weight was much less than Amber (250 pounds or something) this person was wanting the gastric balloon and just because when this person was stressed for work or something used to eat once a day and smoke too much for that the doctor totally refuse it and send her to a psychiatrist.. in fact the person lost the weight that was needed just with therapy.... the person lost all the weight in a year or something without the intervention and the treatment was the mental health one... in amber case i think they need to inpatient her in a centre and give her the full package to almost manage to help her to lose weight and put her away from social media and youtube... since she is an addict to these as well .... and make her take conscious to keep on losing instead of leaving the centre and gain all the weight back

she also tries to corner people into giving her advice she wants to hear, and not actually try anything new. so it's a similar dynamic really. like when O2B offered to help her and all she did with that help is get him to co-sign her "stay under 1600 kaloreese + turkey chilli" diet plan - the same one she's been repeated for years and only gained weight

yes. the entire field of psychiatry begins and ends with smacking "whatever label they want to" on people. that's exactly how that whole process works.

This kind of behavior is something I've seen a lot in lower class dysfunctional families. I don't have a word for it, the closest I can come to describing it briefly is that it's kind of like the idealization-devaluation cycle seen in cluster B personality disorders. I guess what it really boils down to is using people because from my observation it seems to happen like so: family member A hates family member B (often for good reason, like past abuse/neglect) but then seems to forget all of that when family member A needs/wants something from B (e.g. free child care, material things, a teammate to gang up on someone who A believes has done them wrong) and B is delivering. It'll only last as long as B is needed or willing to supply whatever it is A is seeking.

I've seen plenty of neglected and abused kids be desperate for the care and comfort a mom is supposed to provide in tough times. She's narcissistic for sure, there might be an angle. But she might just be scared and want her mommy lol

Fact of the matter is that no treatment center will ever be able to help Amber because Amber doesn't want to change. In order for any therapy to work, the patient needs to show some sort of drive or desire to get better. If the ailment isn't causing them distress, then obviously nothing can be treated. Amber's favorite (and only) hobbies are eating food and thinking about eating food. Her entire channel is dedicated to food, her identity is comprised of the Noble Fat Chick (*Noble because she's always "actively" seeking to lose weight), she goes food shopping for recreation or just lounges for hours on end. And like pecansandies wrote, she will corner anyone to tell her what she wants to hear regardless of how many times she's heard it.

What she wants to hear is a professional (of any field) say: "My god, you are a physical anomaly. We must pity you. Don't worry, your family, your friends, and the State will accommodate you and your life so you can continue on living in whichever way you choose to."

The only reason she managed to lose that weight initially (the fabled 89lbs) was because she saw no way that she could sustain her current life of eating, consuming, and being doted on because independence was coming fast and she needed to do something. Once YouTube and stupid girlfriends became a liable option, then that need to change was quickly tossed. The less she needed to change, the more she stuck to her eating, the more immense she became.

Also, idk where this talk about moving in with mom came from. That'll never happen bc no one wants her. I was thinking more along the line that she's grooming her audience into another season of My Mom Has Cancer And I Am Sad but not sad enough to visit her or contact her in any way
