Amazon's "Jack Ryan" Triggers the Trooniverse. - Uses slurs and toxic masculintiy. Literally FAILED the Bechdel test. Troons attack John Krasinski

Alison Bechdel even went public with "That wasn't supposed to be a critical test for EVERYTHING". Nobody listens, of course.

"Bechdel test" is now just another another weasel term only used by weasels, like "grimdark" and so on and also similarly applied only to work the critics already don't like, and never to anything they do, even if they enjoy works that have similar dark, grim scenes in them, and in which women talk to each other only about men.

Bechdel actually just wanted to start a conversation and alter the way we look at movies and film. It was NEVER meant to be a judge of the quality of a product or make assumptions about it. It was a comic strip for fucks sake, and she basically says that in her public statements. The thing is she's so exasperated trying to explain this, she doesn't even bother anymore.

The 'bechdel test' is a fucking garbage test in my opinion anyway. Women are always going to talk about men, and men are always going to talk about women. I'm not framing my fucking story over a re.tarded comic strip that even the author is completely ambivalent about now.

EDIT:

I'm also tired of bending over backwards for 0.3% of the population. I am so fucking tired of hearing about troons and how they're oppressed when nearly every 1st world government is going out of their way trying to appease them and not hurt their precious feels. 'Oh no someone made a joke, waaahhahhahah, people are literally dying'.

Shut the fuck up. Also, if you manipulate a guy into having sex with you and you're a tranny and don't tell him and he kicks the shit out of you when he finds out, you get what you deserve.

I hate it when media that is centered around un-PC, male-dominated spheres (like crime, the military, and dangerous jobs) gets harangued by SJWs. As if we should whitewash the portrayal of said spaces to spare their precious feelings.
These aren’t people who like challenging stories. Nuanced characters who can be “good guys” but imperfect people are a little spicy for their taste. I don’t know whether their love of children’s TV is the cause of this or a symptom.

The "controversy" was added to Wikipedia alongside a bitching from the french that one of the french cops did about how the Muslims are fucking France very hard that is actually not far from the truth

Is funny how they complain about this but not how America was going to have their first Black president sooner but was killed in the Ryanverse novels or how the muslims are always portrayed as the bad guys, for example in the sum of all fears novel the bad guys are actually from iran and in the movie was changed to neo nazis, so ironically by putting the muslims as enemies they were being faithful to the novels from where he come from

But hey why fucking read when you can just be a lazy ass and watch it in your privileged stream service and bitch on twitter?

ps. i saw clear and present danger on netflix, weird to think that the old man that i knew from Rainbow Six was portrayed by willem dafoe, and i can confirm that the ryan of amazon prime is based in the harrison ford interpretation
