Seriously, if you've ever so much as had a beer with military personnel you're lucky if "tranny" is the most offensive thing you've heard. A good friend of mine is from NYC and in the USN. If making jokes like this literally kills troons he's got a pretty high score.

Yeah, Jim from the office as a secret agent? That just doesn't work. He works as that goofy dude in the office, because he semi kinda seemed like a sorta ordinary dude. That doesn't work at all in anything that's supposed to be about him, because that's a boring character to build on.

But yeah, if he sneaks a look at the camera and makes a "shhhh" gesture while he's hiding, that might make it ok. I actually laughed at that one...

Plot twist: Jack Ryan is actually Michael Scarn.
 
I was thinking about watching this show, as I am a Clancy and Jack Ryan fan, despite not being able to picture Krasinski as Ryan, but then I read some reviews and learned what they did to the character of Greer. No longer an admiral, but a disgraced CIA station chief and a Muslim. Just gotta make some character a Muslim. Fuck you Amazon. Fuck you. Clancy is spinning in his grave.
 
I don't think the Bechdel Test is inherently worthless like everyone says because though flawed it's at least interesting, in concept. It's not looking for the female characters to have 'meaningless small talk' but ideally contribute to the plot in some meaningful but independent way. Characters should ideally be more than their romantic relationships.

That being said, I don't know why you would look at the poster for an action TV show with a single white guy on it and think 'this will hold up to all my high standards of diversity' and then get upset when it doesn't. These guys should just stick to cartoons.

Ex-Muslim as far i have see (only two chapters, internet sucks here and i dont have amazon prime, only netflix) but yeah the ammount of wanking to muslims is weird in one side they showed them as normal people trying to have a normal life and in the next second you get them moving funds for terrorism in paris

They already have Three days of the Woke Condor TV series. Wherein a CIA agent stumbles upon a plan to release a plague in the middle east to kill those dang muslims by a group of white nationalists in the CIA, complete with a plot line about a lesbian agent avenging the death of her girlfriend. The best part of that series is Joubert, a petite Terminator that murders 2/3rds of the cast. Brendan Fraser was decent in it too, playing a complete sadsack whose character description I'm 101% positive had the phrase 'toxic masculinity' pop up in it multiple times.

Wait people expected something based off of Tom Clancy's work to be PC?
The man was a diehard Conservative. He literally had Jack Ryan Sr. become the POTUS and beat the shit out of a blatant Ted Kennedy/Obama stand in for his second non-consecutive term.
I highly doubt he would have given a shit about Woke BS.
