The holes in her story were in some articles she would say (or type) she was so so Autistic as an infant she couldn't even nurse and then you'd have another saying she gradually went into her Autism (started off verbal but lost skills). In her Documentary her day nurse or caregiver came into her bedroom (which was a total dump by the way) and Amanda was sitting on the bed in a diaper on her laptop. One of those moments...

i didnt notice the diaper thank god ( gag ) lol, but yeahher house was such a wreck, she is a slob and it got worse over the years, andof course she blamed that on the ''tism'.... some autistics are messy and others are very neat and clean, but still....

she scary looking now, but as a baby, young child even early teens she was actually kinda cute and some what of a pretty 60s west cost hippie chick, but in her later teen years she started changing and doing all the ''trying on'' of various disabilities and illness, and would go out ogf her way to make herself look as disabled and or ill as possible, and yes she still wearsherdads clothes, she is now int his rustic back woods farmer esq phase, and she focues her ''disabilities'' mostly on health medical and physical instead of the developmental and autistic stuff

It isn't a mystery as to why nobody calls her out. Do you have any idea what kind of backlash and harassment someone would get for daring to suggest that somebody isn't as exceptional as they claim?
Especially for something like a mental illness or impairment, because "you can't read their mind" or whatever. People won't be on your side if you say somebody is faking it because "muh invisible illness".

If you know her personally then you'd have more clout to call her out yourself anyway. Personal stories mean more than randos on the internet digging for evidence.

that is true, i do understand the possible backlash, BUT i understand too that, these days no one will take her seriously when shes tarts going all rrreeeeeeeee ! especially no days, but i do see the potential for harassment too

Not everybody who uses a wheelchair legitimately uses a wheelchair all the time, and may switch from wheelchairs to crutches to canes, depending on how much they expect to be moving around or their specific needs. I think we have video of Amanda using a cane as well as a photo of her in a motorized wheelchair.

that i agree with, hell im one of those who depending on what im doing i need my cane, or imight need my wheels, ( CP and hyperflexive joints ),

but with amanda while yeah she likely has issues due to weight, but its the way Amanda used the wheelchair s and her reasoning behind them, and the time frames when she used them , and how she goes out of her way to ''look and act disabled, also amanda had decide d she needed a powerchair after seeing me with one and when she met my friends and advocate who also was a powerchair person --- i say this because amanda has always been one to copy and mirror some part , trait, or behaviors of various people as if to build her ''gimp character'' for the con game. so while amanda has some legt needs for the canes or wheelchairs, its mostly self induced and due to choosing to make herself, and let herself get to this n that state of health, or ill health, / injuries to need it... and no matter how much a person needs adaptive devices, accomodations ect. its all kinds of uncool to play it up and milk it, and rub it in peoples faces like amanda did / does

No, I don't know her. I don't know anyone who knows her. I came to kiwifarms originally to read more about Chantal because she is the worst and somehow, I ended up falling into this munchie/spoonie rabbit hole. The disease fascinates me (mostly because how can someone be so desperate for attention that they rub literal shit into their wounds just hoping for an amputation. ..), but this cow's face had me rolling for a good 20 minutes.

Alright. I finally did it. I watched the video. There's something about knowing she was, at least once upon a time, faking that rubs me wrong. I don't doubt she believes her bullshit, but autism is a developmental disorder. You don't suddenly get it.

Anyway, onto a video analysis.

1. Stimming by batting a chain - bullshit. Watching it dangle and spin, yes. Running fingers down the ribbing on it, yes. Batting at it like a fucking cat? I cannot fathom what sensory fulfilment that offers.

2. So many different stims - unlikely. Stims serve a purpose. Therefore, the ones that fulfill that purpose best are used. No one has 50 variations on the same damn thing, especially speds who enjoy consistency. Never have I ever met or seen someone with such a fucking catalogue.

And even the speddiest of speds don't stim via all 5 senses. 1-2 mains. Thats it. This isn't fucking pokemon where you gotta catch all the stims.

3. Verbal stim - Nice try but no cigar. As 'constant' as verbal stimming is... it isn't. Plenty of people hear speds verbal stimming in public and it is never 'constant'. God, I can hear her getting tired while doing it. Ironically, because she's doing it so long, it fails to have the consistency that verbal stimming has.

4. Her explanation of stimming is stupid and wrong according to, well, actual autists.

i knew her, yes , yes definitely read it from the beginning, because its got all kinds of proof and ''works cited'' if you will backing up what everyone is saying, yes she did do a lot of drugs, but still... no one becomes autistic from drug use !, and even if she was brain damaged from extensive drug use which does happen,she would notbe acting like this and pretending to be an autistic

My point was that whether she sincerely believes it or not, and she probably does considering all the acid and prior faking behaviour, she cannot even fake autism gud.

Its impossible to fake 24/7, but even on camera she came off as a bloody parody of autism due to how ridiculously over the top she was being.

And the problem with that? Misinformation and distrust.

She makes every severely autistic person look like a homely disgusting mess when in actuality hygene and grooming are top priorities for parents and caregivers to teach. She inconsistently portrays behavioral characteristics and describes the reality of being autistic wrong compared to every other communicating nonverbal sped out there. And her untrustworthiness (despite her likely sincere belief that she has autism) instills distrust in other advocates. It makes people suspicious of actual advocates.

Hell, I'm suspicious and I've met speds who wrote fluently but couldn't speak.
