I was very disappointed today to learn that Holy Groove is AI. It's one thing to write some stupid parody song like "It's Time to Shit on the Company Dime" or "I Glued My Balls to My Butthole" that exists as a musical shitpost and doesn't present itself as anything else unless it's part of the joke (leading you on). It's another to make serious music and then seemingly conceal that behind a name. How much of the lyrical rearrangement was human made? The vision for the song itself? Probably little of it.
 
I couldn't sleep so I made a song about current events in Minnesota. Needless to say it is extremely gay.

I ran a stupid oompa loompa song parody I wrote for A&N through Suno, and got a pretty good result:



Can any of you recommend free tools to separate the vocals from the instrumental? I want to splice it in with the original backing track, but the Audacity plugin (openvino) I'm using keeps butchering the vocals. I really don't want to give Altman money for the pro features.
 
playing around with Suno's ability to export individual instruments as midi files that you can then assign a soundfont



out of curiosity I opened the rendered file up on spectrogram view (sneedacity) and it's really interesting how you can see the beat as vertical lines and the melody's individual notes as horizontal lines that even go up and down depending on the specific note, which would make sense given how sounds are frequencies and it resembles the midi charts on specific note placements.

If you have a vocalist in there with sustained notes you can even see the vibrato.
