AI-Generated Music (+ Parodies / Covers / Original Content) - The machines are learning art. Observe...

If you like Hard Archive, you'll love Gnu Klassix. These guys are ridiculously based and have some of the best songwriting I've heard from an AI channel.

They do the outro for a podcast I listen to at work, wasn't sure if they did anything else, so I decided to check out some of their other stuff and it's seriously great. Plus they lean pretty heavy into Southern Rock/Country and also do some 80s Hair Metal which is one of my favorites. It's like the bastard child of Steel Panther and Moonman.

These guys are criminally underrated, most of their stuff has less than 500 views. They deserve a lot more attention.

HAR-DAR

Your Pride

Rooftop Koreans

Epstein

Seriously, just marathon the entire playlist.

I've been asked if I had any more AI songs for inclusion.

Here's one that is a 'guide song' which a friend of mine is going to expand on and record 'for real' in November. It's called 'Welsh Pride' and will raise funds for charities and causes supported by the family of former Welsh footballer and manager Gary Speed who died in November 2011:

Another one from me, which was a clap-back to the song 'Stop Being An Arsehole' by Thomas Benjamin Wild who is a Bedfordshire (UK) based musician/entertainer who is condescending, pompous and self-righteous:

[Verse 1}

My friend I think you should sit down
and listen to these words;
You say that we're the ones to blame
and demand that you be heard.
I tell you that we've had enough
Your comeuppance is due;
'Stop being an arsehole!' 'You too!'

[Verse 2]

You cry and scream that we're not woke
Your brain's in back to front
You're triggered by Reform UK
and you hate Donald Trump.
When hoisted by your own petard
You just don't have a clue:
'Stop being an arsehole!' 'You too!'

[Chorus 1]

If you haven't noticed
In 2025
The Labour Party sycophants
Just want us all to die.
The economy's collapsing; everything is far from great
We think it's very sad that you won't learn from your mistakes!

[Verse 3]

Your pompous ways and privilege
Are sadly both on show;
You went to Oxford and Cambridge
A thousand times; 'we know!'
but dear Captain Smarty-pants
Have you really thought it through?
'Stop being an arsehole!' 'You too!'

[Verse 4]

If one day you were perchance
To reflect on the facts
That there's more to life than just your way
and if you could change tact;
You'd see that we are not your foes
and your reasoning is skewed
'Stop being an arsehole!' 'You too!'

[Chorus 2]

Yes, it's time to answer back
and put you in your place
You're such a whiny baby
Yes, you're just a damn disgrace
You've only hatred in your soul and anger in your heart
Your head is up your backside and you're huffing on your farts!

[Verse 5]

You've been told by The Guardian
To hate the Working Class
To call us servile idiots
Who should be put 'on blast'
That won't win any arguments
Nor change our point of view;
'Stop being an arsehole!' 'You too!'

[Verse 6]

We're called bigots and racists
and even Hitler Two!'
but if you were at Auschwitz
You'd agree to gas the Jews
You just support the current thing
That's all you'll ever do;
'Stop being an arsehole!' 'AND YOU!'

You do a good job at these, and/or finding them. Pretty catchy! I'm still waiting for it to progress further before I try it some more..

Thanks very much, that one's my lyrics with help from 'Producer' which was 'Riffusion' until quite recently.

I aim to please and to serve!
Risking a double post here, but what happens when you mix a parody of the Village People's YMCA with new lyrics and add AI... you get this.. and IMO it's not half bad!

[Verse 1]

Young Man
Well you say your life's bad
I said, Young Man
and you say you've been had
I said, Young Man
There's no need to feel down
Things will be different this time round!

[Verse 2]

Young Man
You've been plain out of luck
I said, Young Man
Tories, Labour they suck
Now it's your turn
It's time to have your say
and we'll chase those bad times away

[Chorus]

We're going to vote for
Reform UK
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
Bringing back the good times
Adults finally in charge
Let's all hail Nigel Farage
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
We've the greatest appeal;
and we never shall kneel
Going to scrap the Green New Deal

[Verse 3]

Young Man
By the woke you're despised
I said, Young Man
'cause you reject their lies
I said, Young Man
You don't have to comply
Just join us; you too can defy!

[Verse 4]

Young Man
Though you're angry, appalled
I said, Young Man
Answer your country's call
It's the time now
and you should feel no shame
Yes, we know that it's time for change!

[Chorus 2]

We're going to vote for
Reform UK
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
Yes, a new age will dawn
We'll have Heaven on Earth
It's time to put the Britons first!
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
A better future's our aim
No more lies, no more pain;
We'll make Britain great again!

[Chorus 3]

We're going to vote for
Reform UK
We're going to vote for
Reform UK
Put your cross in the box
Help us make history;
We're on course for victory!

HardArchive's genre-switched Distance, originally sung by Cake:

Only listened to AI music for a few days now, but it's incredible how easily the music can be composed into a pleasing song with suitable lyrics. Just brings into retrospect how shit mainstream music has become.

Here's to enjoying the lawless frontier before they monopolise it and charge extra.

Let the Gator run

[Verse]
We had the notion to run
Down to the bayou
Where the water moccasins
And the mosquitoes breed
I got a car in the garage
It's perfect
For the job that we need

[Chorus]
If you want a good time
We got it
We got a big alligator
In the back of my trunk
He's just a good ol' boy
And he wants to have fun
So we'll take him downtown
And let him run
So if you want a good time
We got it
We got a big alligator
In the back of my trunk
He's just a good ol' boy
And he wants to have fun
So we'll take him downtown
And let him run
Let him run
[Verse 2]
We get out to the swamp
My buddy was smokin' a cigar
I said
"Get the 'gator in the car"
He says
"It's gonna be hard"
But we got it in there
Yeah
We got it in there
It looks like a big brown leather couch
With a tail and claws and eyes and a snout

[Chorus]
If you want a good time
We got it
We got a big alligator
In the back of my trunk
He's just a good ol' boy
And he wants to have fun
So we'll take him downtown
And let him run
So if you want a good time
We got it
We got a big alligator
In the back of my trunk
He's just a good ol' boy
And he wants to have fun
So we'll take him downtown
And let him run
Let him run
Let him run

[Bridge]
Then the cops come down to the house
They said
"Sir
Do you know you have a wild animal on your property?"
I said
"Yeah
It's a dog"
And they said
"Sir
That's a reptile"
I said
"That's a dog"
And they said
"Sir
It has scales"
And I said
"Sir
I don't care"
And they said
"We have to arrest you"
And I said
"You're gonna have to talk to the dog"
And they said
"You're going to jail"
And I said
"Let him run!"

Impressive that apparently it's just one guy cranking these out, considering the quality.

This account randomly showed up on my feed, and judging by the views of the most popular song relative to the rest of the channel's uploads, one song hit algo.
The gimmick is that it's a space-themed pop singer, which is kind of interesting, though I'm almost certain that it's all AI-generated, art, lyrics, and voice. Even ignoring the impossible release schedule, there's tells like repeated phrases spanning across multiple albums.
A lot of people have independently reached the conclusion that the end result of AI-generated media is flooding the internet with things that don't matter. It's not "scary" in the sense that this is apocalyptic, but it definitely feels like eventually this kind of churned out media will just be what people consoom, although it's probably not that different from what conference of suits are doing right now.
