8-May-2016: Phil sperging about guns again - Links smallest gun he can find

I hope he, at least, leaves his fetishization of guns on the ole interwebs and doesn't spout about this at the YMCA or such.
If is another incident of him tweaking on cold medicine things might not go so well if he got locally known as the web knows him...

Cops show up to site of a report of a disturbance and identify him ...and he is known for :

Mentally Ill? CHECK (even recognized by the courts)
History of drug abuse? CHECK (recent arrest)
Violent power fantasies? CHECK (online posts - or if the talks about it to locals)
Prior instances of violent behavior? CHECK (claims to have brandished a knife / banned from establishment)
Antisocial tendencies? CHECK (openly hates whites, jews, males, cis genders)
Armed? PROBABLE (describes / been seen carrying baton, pepper spray, etc)
Armed with firearm? POSSIBLE (has openly expressed desire including researching specific models)

not exactly a relaxed situation

I live in the deep South where you can get a gun on the same day you go to purchase it if you have a clean record.

The problem with what was in said spoiler is that Phil doesn't have a clean record. He's legally recognized as you said as having a history of drug abuse and mental illness by now, and if we believe what he says (lol) then he's had a few other run-ins with the police.

No reputable gun store is going to sell to a deranged looking homeless wop who looks like a bondage gangster. Not where I live, and definitely not in California where gun control is a thousand times stricter and not when the San Bernadino shooting rings fresh in everybody's mind.

Well, technically speaking, he COULD still get that gun without too much difficulty. Mental health records are just like any other health records: private. It wouldn't be difficult for someone to keep that information to themselves when they go to get a gun.

Unfortunately for Phil, his mental illness is tattooed all over himself. And even without that, the clerk is going to know something is wrong with him by his smell.

I just hope, as he drops further and further into his fantasy world, he doesn't use the same inconsistent twisted logic he uses on his income situation and convince himself that the refusal to sell him firearms is just more "cis oppression" and needs to be subverted by extra-legal means to continue the war against transmisogyny

TBH I'm less concerned with him actually drawing down on someone than I am him accidentally discharging (something that he seems to be noted for in other contexts) the damn thing while making a manifesto video in faux uniform

Well, saying "Phil shit himself" and "Phil shot himself" are only a letter apart.

And we already saw him waving a gun around and pointing it at people in that video he was in for some radio show at Occupy. Granted that was likely an airsoft gun, but I doubt he'd treat a real firearm with any more respect.

Actually, the law is only concerned with involuntary commitment. Someone voluntarily getting treatment isn't usually someone with one of the illnesses that would make someone dangerous. Those involuntarily thrown in the crazy house however are often the kind of dangerous individuals the law is relevant to.

Involuntary commitment usually involves the police and possibly the court system, and thus there are records available to check. Even if Phil's recent Motrin thing is complete BS, he has been committed before in he past. I think it was for beating up his mother.

Though this is a bit moot since I'm pretty sure firearms dealers are allowed to refuse to sell to anyone who seems sketchy. Phil gives off so many warning signs of crazy I wouldn't be surprised if he was kicked out of the shop very quickly.

Records are private 5150s pop on your 4473 or the paper work you do for the dealer to buy a gun.
So even if you lie about being committed or not being able to own a gun (two separate questions) it'll flag in the system.
As said gun stores have a lot of wiggle room in the refusal to serve policy, and for good reason.

I've said it before when he gun spergs I'm sure I'll say it again, this man can't manage to pay his phone bill, he's NOT buying a gun. It's just him being edgy for edgy sake and god help you if anyone here worried even the remotest, Phil trolled you.

I'm sure in a few days he will go on about how he refused to buy a kel tec because American made and think he's gonna totally break our hearts and make us trolled. Remember this is all coming from a man who can't even google the name of the gun he lied about having.

He's not doing private sales since his iphone and other things proves he the commie needs the newest and best not some used thing. Plus again with used, in some states can skip backround check but no one would do it.

Black market won't happen either, and spud boy isn't gonna be smart enough to make a firearm. (even though your kitchen sink has all the required parts that would require having a kitchen or house)

If there's a pistol Phil deserves, it's the Type 94.

Basically, for those of you who aren't Japanese weapons spergs, if you mishandle it, it will accidentally discharge. You can press down on the side of the gun, which has an exposed sear, and it will fire.

It's not the greatest product from my namesake's creator, basically.

yes but nobody tries CCing 22lr target pistols

Depends. I've done it while out in snake country. But for the most part, you're right. Not the best choice for self defense against people. But Phil is not only poor, he's also stupid. I wouldn't put it past him.

As far as Phil getting a gun and licensing, etc.; most states do not require people to have a firearms license or register their weapons in any way. You do have to have a permit to carry concealed in most states and New York and a few other states do require you register your firearms, but they are the minority. Anyone selling a firearm, be it a gun store or a private seller, are legally required to prohibit anyone that they're reasonably sure are criminals, are planning on using the weapon to commit a crime or hurt someone, or are mentally unsound. The majority of people are going to look at Phil and assume he is not someone who should be around firearms. Once he opens his mouth and starts ranting about Kiwis, trolls, white CIS male rapists, and other such bullshit, it's going to remove all doubt. Those who would be willing to sell him a firearm are going to be scary criminal types, and Phil is too much of a pussy to be around those kinds of people.
