NI doesn't get the same human rights as England and Scotland and the government will sic rubber bullets and water canons on their own people there. The "understanding" is that the UK govt know how insane the Norn Iron can be (Provos or Prods) and will put them down like dogs, I believe a lot of the police vehicles in NI are just refitted army vehicles. Violent state oppression is sort of key to each community's identity, the same way a cultural dish may be to others, so a police/state beatdown is nothing new to any of them. But if you used water canons in London the media/courts/etc would hang you.
The UK Police's only power is censorship and the general populations' belief in the rule of law so they go quietly when being arrested. The native populations patience is wearing thin.

This guy has been coming across my feed for a few months now and I've slowly warmed up to him. I respect the look as a former goth kid, but I wasn't expecting to hear his opinions. He's a decent orator; his cadence is good, he has a sharp wit, and he's saying what everyone is thinking. A great quote: "White people aren't like the sand people. White people aren't like Africans. He brings up a pretty good point about the woman migrants speaking out. Not only on the lack of mention of Stephen Ogilvie, but also how if a white Irishmen went to a foreign country and tried to behead and blind a disabled man, the locals would absolutely take matters in to their own hands. Why do they expect things to be any different anywhere else in the world? A quick example: I once saw a video of a village in some African backwater carrying out mob justice against a man who was accused of raping a woman. There was no trial, there was no negotiation. He was stripped naked and had his nuts slapped with 2x4 planks of wood repeatedly before he was doused in gasoline and donned with a burning tire around his neck. Do the immigrants want to be held to the standard of justice as the shitholes they came from? If that's the language that gets the message through their heads, so be it.

yes you can make IEDs from somewhat available materials (stuff like ammonium nitrate from fertilizers) but crafting raw explosive compounds like that into a device that will actually detonate reliably on command is not an easy task and requires a bit of knowledge about chemistry and electronics.
stuffing a pile of ANFO into a container is easy. coming up with a detonator to make it go boom is not as easy, and coming up with a way to set it up and wire it so you can trigger it remotely is even more difficult.
terrorist orgs and militias (like the taliban) have specialists who do that shit for them, it's not something random amateurs can just do out of the blue unless they do quite a bit of research first and have access to a bunch of materials and tools that most civilians don't.
