I’m not just angerposting, overrunning police infrastructure matters because a city is ungovernable if the population overwhelms police fast enough. If you just attack your direct target they will eventually organize and grind you down. If the police force has effectively disintegrated you can keep going.

It's interesting seeing the difference between a legitimate reason to riot (the government importing infinity violent retards to murder you and the police helping them do it) and a potential illegitimate reason to riot (upset you a murderer the same color as you got found guilty)
I would agree under normal circumstances but Northern Ireland is well known for this. It's like stitching 90s balkan country onto a Western European country, they riot and burn down over things more minor than this. They still have huge walls in between Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods in 2026.

Around this time last year they did something similar after 2 Romanians were accused of sexual assault, 2/3rds of the Romanian population fled Northern Ireland lmao. The Romanians were cleared without charge due to a lack of evidence.
