This is why people in Ulster are resorting to riots, because any legal methods of resistance are becoming more futile. Despite all the cyber space talk about “alliances” and whatever, I think it boils down to the fact that the riots were done by Loyalist gangs, which normal and especially Catholic society want absolutely nothing to do with. So rolling bins, burning shit, accosting people etc. is as appreciated now as it was then, and will only work to make these discussions that much more untouchable to the ordinary man.
