2025 US and Venezuela Conflict - Operation Just Cause 2: 2 Just 2 Cause

That was my thought My understanding is they have not upgraded any of them since the original sale.
In the early 2000s some of them were upgraded by Israel with targeting pods to allow for ground attack but the US blocked any more upgrades in 2005 after Chavez took over.

All the videos I've seen of the remaining F-16s show none of them with the targeting pods meaning so yeah they're just flying them out of pride, and remember when they did the flyovers of the US Navy at the start of the build up last year to test if they actually had authorization to use force they sent out the F-16s completely unarmed rather than the new Sukhois they have.

They were going through different allies getting communist bloc aircraft for Ukraine I wouldn't be surprised if there was a swap for those SU-30s for some new f16s. For some reason the ukrainians did not do so well with them.
Venezuela is now a U.S. protectorate, it will never be allowed to possess any more modern combat aircraft again.

I don't think there are 1000 political prisoners in Venezuela right now, I think most of them (including Guanipa) are dead at this point.
I'm sure a lot of them are dead. I mean, there are still missing people from the Argentine dictatorship, from the fucking seventies. I think it'll be decades before we know the full extent of this tragedy, at the very least.

⚠️⚠️⛽️ Oil contractors denounce the reactivation of the "Tascón list" in Pdvsa Oriente, a mechanism that would be used to politically discriminate against workers.

Tascón List, contained the names of those who signed in favor of the recall referendum against Hugo Chávez. Originally, its purpose was to verify the authenticity of the signatures, but it became an instrument of political control and retaliation. The people who signed faced political discrimination and in some cases persecution

God please, let this happen before the end of the month...

Keep in mind that Diosdado isn't someone who is in there for the money. I mean, he obviously enjoys the money and wealth and whatever, but his main motivation is power.

I have a theory. Diosdado is a manlet. He also has a notoriously reactive and sociopathic personality (which means deep down he's extremely insecure). I have a feeling Mr. Godgiven was mercilessly bullied in his youth, and since he's definitely the type to bite the bait and react violently, he might as well have been a lolcow. I'm sure Diosdado would be a lolcow in any other circumstance. Therefore, he's ridiculously resentful, and that's why the one thing he wants above all is power. He's not going to let it go, he'd rather die than lose power and become a lolcow again.

Never forget that Diosdado pissed himself the first time Chavez was sent to jail, he never recovered from being a piss pants manlet, thats his villain origin.

More strikes in Venezuela is a bad outcome.
This has so far been peaceful transition of power outside of some agitators.
I think putting the guy who everyone wanted anyways in 2024 in charge helped a lot. I'm sure the promise of oil money is a big motivator as well.
Trump fixing a country by giving their communist president a helicopter ride and not much else is pretty funny.

he's 5cm taller than the average, but i don't know if that's true or not, seems to be more like what @Jose Beaner Luna said to be honest, also he is a commie so he craves power naturally, him being one of the heads of a narcoterrorist group only worsens his desire for power and seeing that power slipping away from him must be incredibly frustrating as he can't order his little shits to kill whoever is threatening his power structure.

while i am up for the extermination of him and his cronies, making him suffer in solitary confinement after witnessing his empire being dismantled is far, far, worse than all the suffering he caused and it is the proper punishment a piece of shit like him deserves, his followers however need to be quickly and strongly overwhelmed with attacks and they will eventually learn that shit dangerous and dip, leaving him alone for the picking if he doesn't take the kurt cobain exit.

I'm surprised, when he appears in TV he always looks shorter than his soldiers. I mean Maduro is much taller than average, but still. So either he lied about his height or that height is below average in the military.

A political prisoner that was captured 2 months ago "passed away today", first report of many to come?

Edit: Now identified as 52yo Edison Torres, who was a police officer of the Portuguesa state for more than 20 years, he was apprehended by Maduro's regime a month ago (December 9)

There is no transition, lol.

They will just kill as much as they can get away with, they cannot allow them to talk. The only ones that will be released will be the Viral ones, and some of the members of the Opoficion. And even they will be warned about snitching.

I must have the wrong ideas. Would you say the collectivos are a large problem? Or, what transition would you like to see?
The ones "Bending the knee" are constantly pushing boundaries to try to measure how much they can get away with. They have done the same every time they have been given an ultimatum. They are playing ball because they will be greatly benefiting from the US removing sanctions. The Regime know for rigging elections, and ignoring results is not exactly one you should trust. They have supplied the colectivos with more weapons than ever, and dispersed their military equipment. Those are not the things someone willing to give up power would do. Political arrests have increased tenfold. Political prisoners have not been released, despite that being one of the US main requests.

Maybe I am wrong, and they will cuck out in the end. But for now it does not seem likely.

I mean, it is not like the US should care. They seem to be willing to give the US control of the resource flow, and I have no doubts that will continue for as long as they are not forced to disarm themselves or give up power.

Can Trump please extract everyone from the Opofiction as well?

>January 3 operation
I don't really believe that, even though I think it's funny. The operation seemed too clockwork perfect to have been a spur of the moment thing. I wouldn't be surprised if it had been in the planning stages for months.

I choose to believe it because its funny.

People believe that jajaja tiny island is meaningless but behind every single commie government they are always there giving orders and draining resources like leeches, you take out Canel and dismantled 70 years of communism you will never see a commie on latinamerica ever again

The ones "Bending the knee" are constantly pushing boundaries to try to measure how much they can get away with
People has this weird idea that is everyone bending the knee when only 2 of the 4 remaining members of the chavizmo power, Delcy and Jorge are doing everything the USA tell them, but Padrino (that has been awfully quiet since a week ago) and Diosdado are the ones that are cockblocking and being pigheads about it even when they know in long terms they cant win and for what we can see they are going to pull 2 possible scenarios

  1. They are planning a coup in a last desperate move to not lose power thats why they are emptying the guns of the army armories and hiding it in isolated places but even if he does he doesnt have that much people unless Padrino is also on it
  2. They are going to become a guerrilla using all the people and weapons they have now post transition to be a massive pain in the ass to make demands like the FARC does. it has worked on Colombia thats why they got Petro
In every scenario Diosdado forgot that the crucial pillar of the Chavismo power is PDVSA, and PDVSA has been pretty much taken by the americans with them not having any way to use oil money to finance their plans they have to be very creative into getting funds or some kind of help

I really hope that Trump reconsider the second strike and take Diosdado out, he is the main pillar of the military faction of the Chavizmo, take him out, the transition will happen without any issues
