2025 US and Venezuela Conflict - Operation Just Cause 2: 2 Just 2 Cause

there has been reports of the civilian army returning the guns that the government gave them and asking to not be involved anymore in the civilian army activities,

Given what I have seen of the "guns" Maduro gave out I would be shocked if most of them even work. I saw some honest to god Mosin Nagants and SKSs being given out. I also wonder if they even had ammo for it, and suspect they never got issued any.

Exxon Mobil's Executive Director:

If we look at the current commercial structures in Venezuela today, it's unviable. It's necessary to implement significant changes in these structures, in the legal system. There must be lasting protections for investments and changes in the legislation on hydrocarbons.

"When we add Venezuela and the United States, we have 55% of the world's oil."

"They stole our assets as if we were babies. They stole it from us. They took it away from us, socialists and communists. We are recovering what they took away from us. They took our oil; we built that oil industry."

Mucho texto but tldr it start with they saying that they are "outraged" about the kidnapping of president nicolas maduro that is a violation of his rights

After that is the funny part, they are opening "exploratory" negotiations with the USA to reestablish diplomatic relationships to achieve a mutual respectful agreement, lots of words just say "the gringos are here to stay"

Like the chaviztas on twitter said "26 years defending our dignity and sovereignty and they sold it in 5 days"
Do you have some Chavista salt for us to enjoy? I can't seen to find any on Twitter, even less in Spanish.

Weeks before Maduro was snatched they were distributing AKs without bullets ofc we cant have the peasant to be to comfy, now they are collecting dust or throw away because people is afraid being considered a "militian" will deter them to get a job because they are aware (with good measure) that Chaviztas are going to be discriminated in everything now like they did with all people they did not like

Edit: Diosdado is on the streets surrounded by soldiers bragging that Venezuela is in peace because they have all the guns, when in reality is because the americans are still there

At the very least, I appreciate the transparency.
"Yes, we regime changed for oil, yes we're openly puppeting the new government, ain't we a bunch of badasses?"
Good, honest Roman Imperialism.
Don't forget the third part of it.

"And we all know nobody is going to do shit about it!"

This is how you do a special military operation in your near abroad zisters.

He thought "Can't churro the Maduro" was real. This is all you "Nothing ever happens"-cels fault.
This was on new year eve, and Trump told them "nah i can do it myself"

Edit: i love how stupid Nicolas JR is, he is saying on TV that bending the knee to the USA was the plan of his father all along, lmao this is the clown that the chavizmo want to prop

That video is absolutely disgraceful and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Maduro is a MUCH better dancer than that.

He thought "Can't churro the Maduro" was real.
It is real. Just you watch. Maduro is going to beat the charges.

São Paulo has a even bigger cartel but they don't get as violent because they already have a monopoly on the entire state so factions don't fight as much
See there's your problem.
No one cares about the cartels when they are handingly business quietly and efficiently

So the reasons the are this bitchy about releasing prisoners is that some of them are in bad shape and are sending them to their houses via patrol cars, this after a senator warned them that they are watching and want the releases more faster, only 1 tweet and suddenly patrol cars appeared out of nowhere to send the prisoners
Does anyone have any update on this? I heard they were going to release prisoners but then they only released 8?

They are slowly releasing them. I blame the initial rush on the journos (hang them all in Fortnite), they published a list of political prisoners plus the rumor mill in Venezuela led to a lot of people (myself included) who thought they were going to release them all at once or at least a large group. What the government said was that they have started a process to release prisoners, it is going to take time and we won't know who's exactly getting released until they are walking out of whatever prison they have them.

They did release Enrique Marquez, which was the only candidate, besides Edmundo Gonzalez (the man that won the elections), to call the elections fraudulent. The government jailed him because he asked them to show the ballots and prove that there was no fraud. From all the people being released, he's one the few politicians that actually deserve some recognition given that he knew from the very beginning that he might arrested if he called fraud and didn't went into hiding or fled.

Still nothing, they have barely released 11 of the 1000 they still have there are 2 theories of why this is happening

  1. Diosdado is being absolute pighead about releasing them because they could still be used as bargaining chip even when the americans have told him to knock it off
  2. The political prisoner tag is incredibly wide, because every single faction and member of the party has their, even members that have died, we are talking a congressman or a governor could jail anyone that look them wrong and suddenly they count as political prisoners, so the hanlon razor theory is that they dont know who is actually a political prisoner and now less because they destroyed the evidences in the helicoide
Edit: there are reports that the military headquarters along the country are emptying their armories and hiding it on desolated places, i want to believe Diosdado is not this stupid to throw us in a all war against the USA
