2024 Syrian opposition offensives - The first Syrian rebel offensive against Government forces since March 2020

It will be interesting (and horrifying for the Syrian people) to see this shit show further develop. A former Al Queda dude who is leading a diverse coalition of armed groups with very different ideas about what should come next, with opposing international backers are surely going to form a stable rule.

The fighting isn’t going to stop. Syria will likely continue to be a bloody proxy battlefield for at least the next decade. Assad fucked off on a jet, and I get why some are glad that he’s out of the picture for now, but any notion of lasting stability and peace in Syria in wake of this is completely delusional.

syrians really copied a lot from the nazis lol

Grats to the syrians. I wish them the best of luck and a whole lot of peace in rebuilding. Hopefully some of the bigger players over there have some sense in what would be best for the country. Watching his go down in real time was something. The speed was almost insane.

And now the iranian failure is pretty much complete! While russia is still getting there. How big of an impact and power dynamic change is the loss of their bases and ports in the area going to be? This has to have a major impact on their ME and africa operations at the very least. Plus a major soft power and status hit.

So many threads like this on the sub:

This is worse than Afghanistan. If I was a zigger I would be feeling suicidal right about now.

Indeed.. This would be like if it fell while the US and allies were still there actively trying to defend it.

So the Rebels are asking for Jew money. Israel is an easy bride to please, give her peace and let her have the Golan and they will do whatever you want.

Translation:

Syrian rebel speaking to Israel’s Channel 11: “Dear neighbours & friends from the friendly state of Israel, I’m talking to you, the people of Daraa are joyous after Assad’s rule was diminished. I’m speaking on my behalf and all the free people of Syria, our next phase will be harmony & peace with the state of Israel. There will be no extremism, we share passion. We invite Israel to come to Syria and invest.”

Depending on how the details turn out, this could help speed rush a future peace with Israel like so many of their arab neighbors. I mean it's a long shot in the short term if it did happen, but it is something Israel should at least consider. A friendly and stable syria helps them a whole of a lot more. Especially since 'others' will be trying as well.

don't think so, in Ireland, those celebrating the fall of Assad are saying that "the economic situation isn't.. isn't good" and they are not going back "for now". Link (Archive)
Always an excuse, isn't there? The only reason these "people" are here is because we (the state we elect) allows them to be here. That might be changing soon however. Deportation is no longer a taboo word in much of Europe, with some countries even considering mass detention and deportation programs.

Except for bongland of course, where the government is no doubt drawing up plans to nationalise every hotel and holiday camp in order to house more of the fuckers.

Speak of the devil… I think it’s funny how some people were begging Null to feature it earlier on the thread.
The special kitten brigade has already been dispatched to their locations.

Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq

Don't worry this time it won't descend Into Islamic civil war.
this time its in full Turkish new generation drone range and in range of NATO
And plus the "Usaty Tarakan" Erdoğan actually managed to befriend some into vassalage.

I just want Turkey to get oil. And be more privileged in life. I'm tired of paying charity to others, let us be Imperial for once!

Arab armies are not beating the allegations with this one.

The second the Russians, Iranians and Hezbollah couldn't help them they got felted by Turks.

Damascus ahs fallen billions must go.

Statement from HTS

Statement No. (1) In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful O free sons of Syria, After many years of injustice, tyranny and oppression, and after great sacrifices made by the sons and daughters of this dear country, we announce today to the great Syrian people and to the entire world that the regime of Bashar al-Assad has fallen, and that he has fled the country, leaving behind a legacy of destruction and suffering. On this historic day, we declare that the revolutionary and opposition forces have taken control of our beloved Syria, and we affirm our commitment to building a free, just, and democratic state in which all citizens are equal without discrimination. We pledge before God and before the people to the following:
  1. Preserving the unity and sovereignty of Syrian lands.
  2. Protecting all citizens and their property, regardless of their affiliation.
  3. Work to rebuild the state and its institutions on the foundations of freedom and justice.
  4. Striving to achieve comprehensive national reconciliation, and returning refugees and displaced persons to their homes in safety and dignity.
  5. Holding everyone who committed crimes against the Syrian people accountable, in accordance with the law and justice.
We call on all the Syrian people to unite and join hands at this historical stage, and we affirm that the new Syria will not be limited to anyone, but rather a homeland for all. Long live free and proud Syria! May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. National Transitional Council Damascus, on 08.12.2024

Got to give credit to Israel.

S-ranked this operation.

Palestine is now basically a dead meme walking.

Axis of Resistance demoralized and infighting heavily.

I am honestly shocked the regime collapsed so quickly. I'm interested to see the after action of this. I assume national demoralization on the Syrian's part played a large role.
It was laundry day or something for the Russians. They were too distracted to prop up Assad anymore.

I'm still skeptical about the deportation, I don't think TPTB are just going to let governments start deporting their slave class just like that, I don't know maybe I'm just being cynical due to my own experiences with legal immigration.
