@Null Have you talked to the guys that own the Kommando Store? I ordered a few of their patches during their fourth of july sale (17.76% off everything). I. haven't yet received them so I can't speak for the quality, but they might be able to share some info on manufacturers, lot size/pricing. They also might have insight on how to do other types of merch. they make a plush landmine, maybe one day we can get a kiwi plushy.

imho the all seeing eye/eye of providence/eye of horus/any one eye symbols are the antithesis of your politics & this site. it'd be like printing a pentagram if you were a christian.

I feel it's the duty of the resident history/Tolkien sperg to defend the Eye of Sauron patch and also your characterization of it.

First and foremost, the meme of Kiwifarms being "The Eye of Sauron" goes back to a null rant post.

Thread 'I'm getting too old for this shit.' https://kiwifarms.net/threads/im-getting-too-old-for-this-shit.71029/

From the Tolkien perspective, the Eye of Sauron is pretty apt for the Kiwifarms. Sauron could only see through the eyes of the creations of Melkor, his own servants, or someone wearing a Ring of Power. Frodo, being an innocent, was invisible to Sauron unless he wore the One Ring. Really complicated story, very short, the only way the Eye could see you is if you let it. In internet terms, the only way the gaze of the Eye can land on you is if you engaged the internet in a way to deliberately draw its attention.

People around here found the analogy very apt, along with the edgy boy persona of being compared to the first a best Dark Lord. So it stuck.

Mythologically speaking, the lidless Eye, be it of Horus, Janus, or Whomever, is not a negative thing. It's harkens back to prehistoric hunters and is a metaphor for absolute awareness. Not the bad kind, as in, government watching your every move. But the good kind. Being able to see through deceit...or the camouflage of that fucking tiger in the bushes. Or to see through the lies of a bad chief who talks big game but brings home no mammoth.

In this respect it's also an apt metaphor for the farms, especially since we know even journalists who smear this place also use it as a source because the truth tends to rise to the top around here. But that sort of meta commentary is boring compared to Null being fucking Sauron, the Dark Lord, bane of trannies.

This is probably the roster. Any complaints? I'll need to pass them through the patch person.

BTW, whoever it was that DM'd me about having a family business doing them, please re-DM me. I think it got deleted.
Eye of Sauron will get my shekels for sure, the others are too on the nose for my tastes and would be harder to explain after some retard gets famous while wearing one.

I withdraw my complaint, that's a pretty good deal then. Wonder how many kiwi Eyes of Sauron we'll be seeing on the street with how popular the forum is becoming.
I'm curious how long it will take for someone to sucker punch me when I wear one of them on my work hat.

the doxfound is fun however i cannot find any item where i would apply this patch to
Hats, backpack, range bag, jackets, or you can just get some self-adhesive Velcro strips and mount them on anything you want.

My compliments to the chefs, I will absolutely purchase a set. Love the "archive everything" especially. I saw someone mentioned Kommandostore and I have to agree, it'd be a great idea to collab with them in the future if they're willing, they always do a great job on their stuff and they're no strangers to problematic merch.

Última edición:
There's about 8 designs picked out, I'm going to vectorize the ones that aren't already vectorized with an artist I have, and then

I think what we're going to do is print a few thousand of each and sell them as a pack.
Shipping will be $5.80 domestic, $7.50 UK, $7.50~$9.00 EU, $10 Canada.

Does this sound OK to everyone?
>$10 canadian

Magnets, bro.

People sell "patches" already stuck to fridge magnets, so just grab the flexible magnetic sheet and glue/stick it yourself.

Then you have a repositionable piece of flair that can adhere to your fridge, locker, cyborg, Kitchenaid mixer, metal door, hard drive.

If you don't have a use for them, get them anyway and treat them like the useless feelies that come with collector edition video games. You look at them once and think about how neat those things are. Then put them back in the box to be forgotten in your closet. (Or nook, just be sure to trade the games in at GameStop but hold onto the junk).

Gunna sew me a bag to put some patches on or turn one into a keychain. Just gotta find the right fabric and materials. I'm enjoying thinking of the pastabilities.

You could get one of those badge wallets with the flap, so you can suddenly reveal "Please Be Patient, I Have Autism" and win cred as an elite member of an Internet hate group.
