I watched that video and he came off REALLY BAD.
Ignoring is sometimes worse then behaving badly when this happens.
Anyway, I watched a few other streamers when a raid happens and they behave completely different.
They laugh, cheer and welcome the new people. They sometimes even introduce themselves.
DSP is too paranoid to do that.
Agreed, especially the Wings chat. DSP is so angry when there are two major flaws in his premise.

1) Yeah, sometimes when another content creator does enter your chat, the audience wants to see the stream "derailed" because they want to see the two streamers interacting. I've literally never seen another instance where that happens, and the creator goes "oh okay hi" and then just ignores the person afterward. The creator almost never enters chat just to watch, especially since Wings was giving DSP advice about where DSP was fucking up.

2) The entire premise is flawed because the entire reason chat was being spammed was because DSP DIDN'T say hi to Wings. He didn't acknowledge Wings at all. So chat "spammed Wings" to get DSP's attention because the chat mistakenly believed DSP didn't see Wings in chat. So DSP's entire rant was wrong because he didn't say "Hi" to Wings in the first place. Because DSP doesn't realize how weird it actually is to just ignore Wings.

I mean, the premise is also wrong because the "Youtube is just an archive" went right out the window when DSP needed it to explain why he couldn't talk to Wings. Even though in his Youtube videos he still talks to chat.

DSP wanted to just ignore Wings until Wings left, and when chat wanted to see Wings and DSP interact, DSP went into rant mode.

He always has a face like he shit a brick when realizing someone raided/comes into chat. The paranoia and fear is real. Also, I love Dave's shit talking about Wings(Ya know he denies it) yet Jordie really hasn't had too many horrible words for Phil. Then again Dave shit talks anyone or anything that even slightly bothers him.

ABSOLUTELY.
How fun is that when two fan bases interact?
I remember watching Kitboga and he is so happy when some raids/ hosts him.

Phil fucking hates seeing Wings fans and memes in his chat because it reminds him of the "type" of streamer he actually is. He thinks himself above Rich and doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that they appeal to the same..."demographic". He'd rather people compare him to people like Pewdiepie so he can thump his chest over how he's real and all that shit, not being compared to another pale fatass that people watch to laugh at.

He should name his tiers "paypig", "motorized wheelchair" and "whale".

The "I'm going to lose my house" line is so just so perfectly Phil. Dramatic, manipulative, and also supremely lazy. I'm sure Phil doesn't REALLY think any normal person could possibly believe that. The average Phil fan though...well...

Reality:

-DSP is not going to lose his house

What a Phil fan believes:

-Tevin Fuchs from the Seattle House Confiscation Authority is watching the stream just WAITING for the tips goal to not be met so he can race over and kick Phil, cat, and kat out of house and home.

Phil is not only a child, he's also a cartoon character.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=YZ6K3m9TsPs

It's funny you say that and use a clip from Spongebob as an example. While everyone was talking earlier about how disgusting the sound of Phil eating is, it dawned on me that this is what it reminds me of:

(Taking a chance uploading this clip, which I presume would fall under fair-use, here because the clips I found of the scene on YouTube were incomplete.)

Just to highlight how absurd his getting McDonald's delivered to those who don't know:

Screenshot 2021-07-11 180909.png

A 3 minute drive. Google puts it at under 10 minutes to walk to. And constant-begger pays a markup for each item, plus service charge, plus delivery fee, plus tip.

Haven't been able to read and catch up on the whole thread, so maybe some of this has been pointed out already.

1. Something he said near the beginning was pretty revealing to me. He said, 'Once I get my payment from YT on the 21st, I'll be okay for the rest of the month'. So, for what? 10 days and then you're in 'trouble' again? If this is what he's saying, apparently YT only covers the last 1/3 of the month, and what bills does he even have then, given this marathon is supposed to be paying all the bills he's mentioned BEFORE he gets paid by YT.

If his bills are all gonna get paid because of tip goals and this 'marathon', shouldn't he really pinch for that last part of the month so he can roll over as much as he has left into the beginning of the next month so he can pay the bills and not be a month behind all the time? It would honestly only take him those less than 2 weeks of scrimping at the end of the month and then carrying that money over into the next month to get on track.

2. He was his usual pissy self a few streams ago saying, 'Oh, I'm sorry that I spend money on one nice meal out with my wife. Yeah, that's called life, idiot!' Motherfucker, I know people who, when really struggling to make ends meet, will buy bk quantities of beans and rice and eat that shit every day. When you are in the desperate financial straits he claims to be in, no, you DON'T get to splurge on 'just one meal', you make fucking major sacrifices.

3. This is just more dumb than anything else, but I'm sure it was his typical hyperbole as well. He said his 'tax attorney' has to file all kinds of major, complicated paperwork to get his tax payment date changed because it's on the 20th right now, but YT doesn't pay him until the 21st. He says that he's majorly screwed if he misses it because 'he defaulted on a federal payment.

As someone who has had a real tax mess years ago, that just doesn't happen. The IRS sucks overall, but my experience with them has oddly been some of the best and most accommodating. They really just want their money and they will give you all sorts of options to get it to them. It's total BS that they would fuck him for 'defaulting' on a payment, which he seems to think means paying one day late. He doesn't even have to do that either, just make the fucking payment at 11:59 on the 20th, it's not gonna come out until your YT payment hits on the 21st. Just more of his total lack of common sense, which he projects onto others saying they 'don't understand real adult life' like he does.

4. Has anyone ever asked him, where he gave a legitimate answer, why he doesn't ever seem to include Kat's income when figuring out how to pay their bills? My guess is he'd say something attempting to appear magnanimous like, 'Oh, no, that's her money to buy herself things with' when the truth is that if he mentions it as going towards their expenses, he can't cry as poor as he currently does because it makes the math even more shady than it currently is.

5. The thing about him not pursuing another job because 'it won't make me more than I do streaming' is just a dumb argument imo. That's only true because he is still trying to live the life that YT once allowed him to. If he made major changes to his lifestyle and lived within his means, he wouldn't need to find a job that pays him more than streaming, just one that that would allow him to make ends meet if he cut out all his dumb ass wasteful spending.

The root of his problem is that he's thinking 'what job could I ever find that would make me more money than this?', instead of thinking 'what can I cut out or reduce in my life so that it wouldn't require me to make the level of income I have now, but that would allow me to get a more steady job, with consistent income and maybe health insurance and other benefits, to cover my expenses?'

If DPS shows he cannot pay his irs payment plan on time chronically, the IRS will remove him from the payment plan and slap him with a bill (usually with deferred interest).

As long as you communicate and generally arent a scumfuck the irs is very accomodating, but considering we know Phil used to habitually miss/late pay bills like his hoa fees and mortgage/car payments, its not unreasonable to assume that the irs has sent him at least one 'we might stop your payment plan' warning which to Phil means they WILL.

I assume the IRS doesn't care if you are late only those people who evade/ignore them. DSP was hinting that he "can't pay" whatever payment he owes them. IDK what would happen then i guess they would just take his wages.

They would just put a lien on the condo.

The IRS likes money. Almost as much as Phil does, even. If they're getting money from you, they'll more than likely work with you so they keep getting your money (unless you're sending them 5 bucks a month, or something trivial like that). But, if you stop giving them money, and have no communication as to why you have stopped giving them money....you will be royally hosed. As unreasonable as the IRS can be, they really don't mess with a bunch of small potatoes like you, me, or even Phil. They'll randomly audit people, it's happened to me, but sending them what they ask for makes it go away (unless you really have been cooking the books). But even a brain dead no load like me can incur the wrath of the IRS if I basically told them to fuck themselves with a mercury covered cactus.

Yeah, less than one month after he would never have to talk about money ever again.

Good subtitle, OP. If this doesn't instantly tell ya he's a greedy con-artist who will never stop his ever continuing begging, regardless of the actual factual monetary outcome and his very own narrative, then I don't know how to tell you. You might be braindead. This subtitle is exactly what happened, no detractor interpretations involved.

Phil's schemes get more transparent by the day, he could just hold up a sign which explains in detail how he will scam you for the next 4 years. This sedentary lifestyle really makes him loose all connections to reality, he doesn't even realize he's as translucent as a jellyfish. For someone who's obviously not untouchable (proven by the recent Twitch accident), he feels way too much untouchable.

Those who won't learn will repeat history. Those who own a literally registered business and treat customers like idiots won't see a rise in revenue. Phil, this is not a hobby. Stop treating it like a hobby.

As a gaymur, Dark is "good" at gamifying his interactions with his audience. So he presents his issues as a video game would. You fail to collect the 200 PositivityCoins? You fail the mission and go back to the sewer level in Connecticut. You collect at least 100 PositivityCoins? You unlock the platinum vest skin for your beggar, so you can customize him! Great gameplay!

Of course, this is not how life works, at least normal people's life. DSP is a gaymur, a real gaymur. So real, that his life has become a game.
But not the cool, chill kind of game. More like the live service type.

Pay so the servers can keep running, pay for the new skins, pay for the new levels, which are actually asset flips of the old levels. If you don't pay or you complain, you can't play. A roadmap of new content comes out every once in a while, and the publisher starts nagging you to buy the season pass because the content they've planned is amazing, chill, and interactive. So you buy the season pass, and the new maps are just asset flips.

The next year a sequel gets announced, and you already know what to expect. A majority of the fanbase has left the game and found something else to play, something cheaper, more creative or simply more fun. The dedicated fanbase keep playing, they sometimes complain but regardless they keep giving money to the developer.

Before you know it, the "legacy" edition comes out, a-la FIFA 20. A "new" game with no gameplay changes, except the devs tell you it's a new game. And you pay. Because at this point you're use to it.

You think Phil would tip? He'd pay the increased fees just for his laziness, but he doesn't strike me as a tipper, he sees workers in fast food restaurants as beneath him.

His laziness is exactly why he'd tip, the order page defaults to something like a 18% tip, in small grey buttons off away from the rest of the price listing. He'd never even realize he's doing it, and probably complain about the bugged fee calculations dood
