I had it before and felt really tired. I'm wondering if I have it again? I don't feel sick, but I found a mark on my leg that hurt a lot. I thought it was a bug bite (I had been outside and the bugs are bad out here), but it turns out it's shingles. My brother also has shingles, and he's been coughing a lot. His job puts him in contacts with strangers all day, every day, so there's no telling if he has a regular cold or covid.

Either way, we're too damn young to be getting shingles, especially at the same time.
 
I've luckily avoided a date with Corona-Chan and I got fully vaccinated. The second dose of vaccine gave me a wicked fever that went away after like a day (I slept it off) and I had no other symptoms.
My friend's boss died and a woman on my Discord server had her daughter die. That one was brutal since her daughter was mom of three.

Sounds scary, but was it actually Covid? They label each death as Covid nowadays, regardless of it was caused by it or not. It's hard to take seriously, when everything seem like propaganda and gets debunked after a while.

Three fucking weeks later and I'm finally (mostly) functional again. My senses of taste and smell has mostly returned, but I have no energy and I can't take a deep breath workout coughing. Going back to work next week.

This has all been much worse than I expected. I'm still thinking of holding out for the Novavax vaccine, but they keep moving back the date and I can't risk being that sick again.

Got tested positive for the Wu flu today after a mandatory test at work, I'll have to do another one tomorrow though to see if it might have been a false positive. I do feel a little sick but not any sicker than from a mild cold or anything, otherwise I have no symptoms so far.

My sense of smell and my lungs have been fucked with by other health problems already so there's nothing of value to be lost in that department anymore, at least.
 
I had breakthrough Covid recently (am fully vaxxed and ready for those toxic spike proteins to kill me) it was one pretty unpleasant day and otherwise like a week of having a crappy cold, but I’m in decent health with no underlying conditions. I did completely lose my sense of smell, which was weirder than I thought it was going to be.
 
i had covid earlier this year. fever and general flu like sickness for 2 days. then just tired for 2-3 weeks. ezpz easiest paid vacation ever.

Eh, if they're going to force the vaccine passports on us by the end of the year, I kinda had to get it over with since I booked an important flight for New Year's.

It's been two weeks, and it looks like all's well. Far as I can tell, outside of a sore arm for a few days I didn't have any symptoms from the Jab which is fine-and-dandy with me 'cause that was my biggest worry. Brothers are fine, and parents are fine, too, despite having come down with symptoms themselves for a couple days. Mom actually had those weird rash bumps on her wrist that're apparently a rare occurrence from the vaccine, but they were gone by the morning.

Actually was funny that the day we had gone to get the Jab, my baby brother was reported to have been exposed to the coof the week prior, but I guess he was negative all along.

The lady from the county was babbling to me about getting the vaccine after I was done being sick as fuck. I'll be joining you in the microchipping, because covid's making my dick hurt now and I legit am just so goddamn frustrated about these shitty symptoms.

Just give me the excuse to go to the fucking ER already so I can be knocked out until it's over.
 
My anecdotal:
Vax made me sick as fuck for a week. Think I'm ok now. Wondering about clots and heart probs.
I traveled for 2 months solid - no vax. Didn't get sick. Vax kicked my ass, actually had to take a sick day.
Funny to see how other US states respond to the mask and vaccine mandates.
Down south, the workplace postings all assure the viewer: "Vaccination data is not shared with the INS or ICE, you do not need to provide proof of citizenship".
Fucking lol.

I know some people at work that said they had it, but they were back before I returned to the office. Maybe they just wanted a 'Corona Vacation' ?
Most of them are 'seat warmers'. Real useless fucks That's why I'm suspicious.

Same, except mine was about a few months before covid started popping up in the news cycle. Not sure if it was covid or the worst flu of my life.
Sometimes I wonder if I caught covid directly from America's patient 0 or something.
It lasted over a month and I've had short term memory problems since recovering. If I can keep something on my mind for about 10 minutes, it solidifies into a memory and I won't forget if, but if I have a thought that I don't actively focus on, the second something else takes up my attention, whatever I was thinking about a minute ago is gone forever. It's really frustrating and makes you feel retarded.
 
I guess I missed this thread. Had it last November. It was a three day sore throat with mild, cold-like systems. Wife and daughter were all sick at the same time with the same symptoms. Turns out that we all had it.

Lasting effects are a slight change to certain smells. Oddly enough poop has a slightly weird, chemical smell mixed into it. Skunks smell a bit burnt. This is lessening as time goes by. No real taste aftereffects. Wife's taste is a little more affected. She absolutely hated lime before catching it. Afterwards she rather likes the taste. Go figure.

No jab because my body already fought it off. I'm hoping that at some point sanity prevails and people like me will be treated as vaccinated, but the group think is pretty strong. It may take a while. It's heartening to see studies like the recent one in Israel showing that natural immunity is just as strong as vaccination immunity.

Overall a pretty big nothing for us fortunately. It's certainly nothing to scoff at if you are in a high risk category (old, fat or both) but they are doing everyone a disservice with the almost two years of fear.

I hate how (atleast in the U.S.) naturally acquired immunity isn't really talked about. Fauci was asked about it recently and was like "yeah I dunno". There's all this talk about how many cases there are, which means a big chunk of the population are getting some form of immunity, but there's not much elaboration. There are people working night and day on understanding this disease and you're telling me after two years you have nothing on that?

It's frustrating because no one has been able to give me a good answer on whether the current vaccine would even be actually be helpful to the recently infected at this point.

I didn't have any lasting effects from catching that I know of, so I have nothing to add there, but I did test positive for antibodies a month ago. I had a really mild illness so I was curious about that. I got sick mid April.
 
I started getting a cough and fever on friday and asked to work from home, got a test taken on sunday and got the positive results back a few hours ago. I had some pretty nasty coughing fits saturday and sunday (enough to trigger my gag reflex and make me throw up a few times) but still managed to spend most of the weekend knocked out on tylenol PM and today has been pretty clear. Fever is gone too and now I really just have some nasal congestion that's annoying and making it hard to sleep but nothing that bad.
Fortunately my job lets me work from home.
I am not vaxxed.
