Wasn't the GOP an anti-science deathcult before Trump? How the fuck does that have anything to do with him turning the GOP into an anti science deathcult that's proud of it's own ignorance and refusal to learn?

Republicans operate under the assumption that the U.S. is an oil company with an army. They need to throw a bone to evangelicals, as well.Wasn't the GOP an anti-science deathcult before Trump?
Trump used drone attacks to specific targets. He broke President Drone's record, including the one which took out Iran's no. 2 guy. Get outta here with those numbers.
Obama was pivoting toward Iran, since it's a natural hegemon when compared to Iraq. But his work fell "under review" by the Republican administration. Trump only cares about settling scores, so of course he didn't object. He even tore up the lightbulb ban, FFS.
Including an outdoor wedding, Christ almighty.Obummer hit thousands of people
Same reason the Mob hits weddings and funerals. Sometimes it's the only time you can be sure everyone you want to get is going to be there.Including an outdoor wedding, Christ almighty.

On the topic of "anti science" both parties are guilty of side stepping actual science.
The left, using Greenpeaces "science" the past 50 years has been crying some sort of doomsday event will happen... like the Ozone layer will have huge holes in it and we will all fry by 1980. When that didn't happen, they cried some other doom n' gloom nonsense every 5 years. When 5 years had past.. they started another doom 'n gloom rumor. Maybe if the left pushed actual science ..the right might be inclined to listen. PS, there is almost nothing more the government can or should do regarding climate change. A carbon tax does literally nothing but take more money from peoples paychecks to fund another string of doom n' gloom predictions.
I could go further with real science but... extremists don't actively comprehend every single word.
This thread isn't about Obama, it's about covid. Obama did kill a lot of innocents, too, but he's not been in charge for 5 years now.Trump used drone attacks to specific targets.

Ozone layer DID have huge holes in it and it would've had more if we didn't stop using the CFCs. My god you're a retardOn the topic of "anti science" both parties are guilty of side stepping actual science.

Not true at all. The government can mandate carbon emissions. The obese elderly man who you want to have a gay love affair with put a climate change denier in charge of the EPA. But yeah, you Trump cultists are totally pro-science.PS, there is almost nothing more the government can or should do regarding climate change. The right doesn't listen to science if it is inconvenient for them, which you and the other covid retards are proof of. You spazes still deny climate change and are still anti-vax.I could go further with real science but... extremists don't actively comprehend every single word.
You can "remind" me of all the irrelevant bullshit you want.Ver archivo adjunto 2356199
Need I remind you that Trump himself mandated the six foot social restriction and mask requirement? But Trump fanatics did not want to listen. And here we are. So which is it?
Soooo I did a thing

I finally got up and spoke at our School Board meeting. I was LITERALLY the only anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-virtual school parent that spoke that night. I expected to wake up to a burning lawn and a mob with pitchforks, BUT that's not what happened. Conservative parents sought me out, thanked me for standing up, and invited me to join their parent groups. There really are more of us than you would think and so if you haven't already, stand up, speak out, be brave. You won't regret it.
And those parent's names? Al and Alberta Einstein.
My mom has always been a New Age spiritual type of person. She was a huge Bernie supporter in '16. After Trump won she became this weird fucking rightoid and it makes no sense. It’s funny because when you talk to her about general systematic problems, she clearly understands and experiences them as a disabled woman. However, by way of the aforementioned new age stuff, she is intensely anti-vax.Conservative parents sought me out, thanked me for standing up
This happened in a surprising amount of alternative medicine groups that I follow out of curiosity. My mom has always been a New Age spiritual type of person. She was a huge Bernie supporter in '16. Since the pandemic, she has gone full blown conspiracy theorist and hangs out anti-vax Facebook groups.
The LA Times did apiece on the tidal wave of Qanon crazy that got into the hippie yoga community through the back door of antivaxx. https://archive.is/VFK91This happened in a surprising amount of alternative medicine groups that I follow out of curiosity.
It started out as natural ways you could help protect yourself from COVID-19. Last winter the anti-vaxxers came out in force and now there's a sizeable QAnon crossover for some reason. These are old-ass hippies who would sooner shit on Trump's grave than vote for him, so I have no idea how that happened.

Can't even get a car because they put all the microchips into vaccines!Maybe that's why there's a global chip shortage.
It's funny since conservatives shut down the anti-trust case against Microsoft. Any concerns from the public were waved away by his "charitable donations." Not sure what turned their bootlicking into fear. AFAIK Trump has never even mentioned Gates.
They would have been called Freedom shots and Trump would have arranged the army to go door to door and force it on everyone while proclaiming how he saved everyone.Trump tried to downplay Covid, so his disciples have always been against masks, lockdowns and Covid restrictions.
To Anti-Vaxxers Bill Gates has always been the devil because of the vaccination efforts of his foundation (Malaria etc.).
Anti-Vaxxers found an audience of gullible conspiracy theorists in the QAnon crowd, and for them it was a small step to go from being anti-mask to anti-vax, especially after the election when Q went silent and once Biden was in charge of vaccinations. It would have been interesting to see how things would have played out if Trump had won.
True. At a certain point you have to admit that Q is the hidden 'leg' of the GOP stool. Conspiretards, white nationalists, militias. Without it, them stool might not be able to stand. That gives them bargaining power. It would have been interesting to see how things would have played out if Trump had won.
