Yes. Absolutely lovely people. They deserve better. Hopefully with adf or off their lives they have more energy to focus on Neil (I believe this is his name), adf's brother. He's much lower functioning and actually is in a group home.

And ADF recently was on about how going to a group home "wasn't going to improve his situation" or some dumb shit. With this new revelation about his brother, do you think there's any connection or rather animosity in relation to ADF mentioning the group home bit, since personally I'd never seen anybody suggest a group home was an option (psych ward at best).

While he is undoubtedly autistic if he feels like some one is getting more attention than him he would play up to it. His ego an narcissism wont allow anyone else to be the center of attention even for moment even if it's legitimately deserved.

It's highly possible that Phil did learn to escalate behavior for attention, especially considering his mother's health probably meant she was stretched thin enough as is taking care of one special needs child let alone two.

Also, I belive pre subforum, there was a letter found from Phil's mother to a newspaper saying she had faced some difficulty in getting support services. I can only imagine that didn't help matters when it came to the Phil we all know and loathe developing.

Sadly even if Phil wasn't in the situation he is regarding housing and had family support, and taking a residential facility off the table? Supports for Autistic adults are difficult to come by.

There's like a cutoff point at age 18, even in a group home situation where funding just sort of stops being available.

And while to us, Phil is a barely functional hatepotato, most residential programs would see him being functional enough.

I'm not entirely sure that, despite everything that's happened, if Phil groveled and whimpered and apologized, Dusty wouldn't cave and try to help and/or save him.

The same reason Phil does anything autism and the desire to be oppressed for pity points. Learning about his brother sounds like Phil got through life acting helpless could explain how under developed he is in things like riding a bike or bathing.

Nope. In fact, you can see in some of their tattoo photos where the shop has scrubbed away some of the filth with an alcohol pad before tattooing.

One of the really glaring contrasts I see with Phil is between the way he looks to define himself by hate ("I'm an evil misandrist trans-latina!"), and how he unashamedly schemes and begs for love and attention.

Does he have even a glimmer of awareness that his unpalatable views repel people who might otherwise help him?

Also, related, how often does he encounter an opposing viewpoint that threatens to prick his bubble of delusion? Some people who have threads here seem to exist entirely in an online echo chamber, reinforcing their eccentric worldview. Phil, on the other hand, probably encounters lots of people on a daily basis. Do they tend to humour his nonsense, or do they rebuff him? How does he respond?
