Ok, I took some time to browse through Dobson's art. I mostly refrained from talking about it, because I can't draw a straight to safe my life. But after klicking through a bunch of them, I finally might figured out what bugs me about it.

...yes, yes, I know her upper thumb is off and her neck and gills look like the middle part of a bendy straw, but even I could photoshop those one out. But this picture is interesting, I look at this and think:
Okay this is nice, not extraordinary, but not bad either.

If you look at most of his other art, you will find that it is either some Nintendo- or 80's-cartoon-fanart, or that he's trying to make some lame pun which ruins the picture. Or his characters look like they are motionless dolls or cardboard cut-outs, like they are holding the pose so someone can take the photo.

Although this sounds a little bit cliché, most of his artwork looks "uninspired" or like he is missing any form "artistic drive" like he had an idea, but then is only going through the bare minium of motions to make that picture happen. If you do any kind of art, you want to go these extra three steps, just to ensure you did everything to make it good - these steps seem to be missing. He seems to be a lot better, when he does something else than fanart or art from one of his "stories".

Every artist at some point phones it in, I think. They're not in a good mood or ill or just trying to get through the day. But with Dobson, that's every day. It's as if he doesn't even like art.

He also does the worst strawmen, in that even the guy he's setting up to be an unsympathetic jerk is usually more sympathetic than the Dobbo self-insert. It's also predictable that the last panel is going to be Dobbo with a douchey expression, saying something douchey, and you'll want to punch him in the face. And this is how he's portraying himself.

Case in point:

Look at those expressions. And those aren't even as repulsive and ugly as the ones he draws on his shitty blue bear.

Oh come on, it's not that hard to do pun drawings. I love puns including the bad ones (which is pretty much all of them) and this doesn't even get a dumb smile...

Also the lines and the suit are blending in, and seeing some hint of collarbone and such it doesn't look intentional.

He's not even making puns. Harry Tronner isn't a pun. He's just mashing two things together. Someone from DA had to tell him those were good and that's why he continues to do them.

I have no doubt there are people being "Oh, ugh, trannies should die!" about this GenZed show, and those people are being dickweeds.

But Dob and his ilk tend to lump "Hey, this show looks stupid" into the "being a dickweed" category, as if the only reason people would dislike it is because it has a trans character and a trans VA.

Are they being ableist shit lords by referring to the male as "psychotic" shouldnt he be referred to as non neurotypical.
They tick one box whilst putting a cross in another.

SJWs put transpeople on a pedestal, praising them as higher beings that can do no wrong and should never be spoken negatively against. When they want a transperson in media, they don't want a well balanced character with flaws and actual personality, they want an utterly perfect human being that everyone praises.

The things you miss out on when you're sleeping in a different time zone.

He's posted his sketch of Big Ben that he hastily put out after all that drama with his England picture.

Surprise surprise, the England piece is nowhere on the site. Either it's too SYAC related or he wants to hide it.

What I find annoying about that GenZed promo (aside of the putting trans people on a pedestal thing you mention) is that it claims this is the first show with a trans-voiceactor doing some major big work. Two words:
Maddie Blaustein aka the voice actress of Meowth in Pokemon. Was also trans and a far more entertaining and funny person that passed away too soon than what I get from that GenZed thing.
