It totally is. I had to deal with French players several times in dungeons and every experience was awful,

French are absolutely the worst players with the worst attitudes in XIV.

french stick together more than most, in large part because of the language barrier (to the point they can't or don't even want to communicate in anything else but french). so the question would be, why are playing french guys with randoms?
there's also confirmation bias, how many people that are not shitters are french? doubt anyone checks, and client language only goes so far.

Oh 100% confirmation bias, self admitted in my earlier post. I only check client language when people are shitters and majority of timer they are F. There's the odd E, D, J but so rarely in comparison to F.

You can also farm for the auracite to make glowy weapons. They sell for a pretty penny too.

After pf'ing Zurvan ex when it was new and getting well over the 99 totems to trade for the bird I learned not to chase after mounts.

that's why you reconnect with 5 people and nuke it while the rest watches the cutscene. ;^)
can also have the hilarous effect that they never get out of it till after the final fight is over.
