Especially when you know that he usually has technically reached his $400 daily goal. It's just the fact that the tips weren't divided equally into set amounts of $200+ over 2 streams really causes his gin-pickled brain to shut down.
It's always funny when Phil dawdles so much in games because he doesn't give a fuck, yet is bothered by the difference in his run-time versus that of anyone else on the planet. I know it's probably because he doesn't handle evidence of reality very well, in this case being the reality of him stalling like crazy when he wants everyone to act like he's not doing that.
It'll be interesting to see how long that continues once the income starts decreasing to a point where his lifestyle is looking to be over. I'm really curious to see if Phil has any kind of "Okay, I'll finally put some effort in" threshold. No one can say for sure, for he has never spent a single second of his life in a position that would put that to the test. He went from living on his parents' dime to being supported through his internet career, which has never been truly stressful for him when it comes to the money itself, just the way that it doesn't satisfy thanks to having a long-time addiction to mobile games. Fate has spoiled him in that regard, which is bad enough with a lot of other people, but at its worst with him, for reasons that we're all aware of and not necessary to go into here.
His regulars may be a bit tired of the same begathon bullshit and the obsession over the tips goal, but they're a small minority (or a small concern for Phil really) as it stands, based on past begging charades most will still hang around even if they know that the goal is unreasonable for them, if some of these big whales carry the goal over the line, that's all Phil seems to care about, it's like a rat race for them, who can be the fastest whale to impress the goutlord and recieve the cheese (but there is no prize lol, their reward is fulfilling Phil's gacha hit for the day).
To quote the video posted by Tomstone: "If every day coming up this week we hit both tips goals on every stream, that means when I do the marathon on Friday it's less pressure, it won't be as much that needs to be raised. But if we don't ... that just means it's gonna make it much harder, on Friday when I do that marathon, because it's gonna be more money that needs to be raised."

I’ve had bad allergies and post nasal drip all of my life. I was definitely blessed. I’ve said before that I am roughly Phil’s age, and I discovered this amazing treatment long ago that absolutely works day in and day out. For a couple of dollars you can get this stuff called “Nasal Spray”, that you spray in both nostrils several times a day. This gets rid of most of the drainage down the back of the throat, and keeps you from snorting all day. Also, there is this crazy medication called “non-drowsy allergy medicine” that clears and dries up your sinuses. Once again, Phil is just too lazy and/or cheap to grab these tried and true methods of treating his problems. He’d rather bitch all day and snort at his audience all day than make an improvement. It’s just typical Phil.
Edit: Phil just complained about his eye burning and tearing up. Most of the time, this can also be taken care of by allergy medicine, as well as simple eye drops. To be honest, it’s probably an allergic reaction to “Jathper Kitty”...
