A lot of the best CRPGs have shit gameplay due to them recreating their tabletop counterparts until you become massivly op for getting and knowing how to build the right character build. The ones with good or great gameplay lessend the rpg mechanics for the sake of balance and its a balacing act that no one has yet mastered.

Making a CRPG 'balanced' is a fool's errand, being able to make borderline broken builds and house-ruling against them is far better than everything being the same for the sake of balance.
You mean Phil? The best CRPGs are unbalenced that is universally aggred upon even fucking Skyrim is unbalanced when you micro manage your weapon and mage dual build and the shout system. Yes he has beaten CRPGs despite sucking at them the fallout franchise don't know if he played the earlier ones which were more hard core but he has played New Vegas, 3, and 4, not forgetting Skyrim and Oblivion to be more accurate. Dude has been playing every popular game since he started Youtube. My favorate moment is when he said the Yakuza series and Minecraft was obscure in 2015. No Phil Yakuza wasn't obscure every hardcore gamer knew about it and how bad the western ports were compared to the original Japanese. Until Yakuza 5 took its time translating it to be on par with the original and then they remastered or remade the whole franchise after the successful Yakuza 0. Minecraft was at its peak popularity before 2015 everyone knows about Minecraft.
CRPG typically describes isometric, party-based, text-heavy games. Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Wasteland, and maybe early Fallouts though it feels iffy to me. Modern games would include Divinity and Pillars of Eternity. DSP has probably never played one in his life.
Whops mixed it up with rpgs fucking gay since its the same fucking thing as JRPGs are to western RPGs and he has played Divinty Original Sin and pillars of eternaty not to completion because this is the same guy who strugled to play Dark Souls a game where any hardcore Gamer would easily beat as soon as you learn how to properly play the game as intended by the devs.

He was definitely a long-time subber. It seems that as soon as his chat regulars stopped getting their sub perks, they no longer had a reason to act like fans. Now that the perks have gone and these "fans" realise that soon they will get the emotes for free, and be able to just make a new account to avoid chat exiles, surely they must just be thinking "Fuck it" and show their true colours.
It's the same logic that Phil applies when he makes double the goal in the morning, and then cries when he makes half the goal in the evening.
