Oh, I agree. That was meant to be my (unclear) point. He acted like what Daigo did wasn't all that impressive, and then struggled to replicate it in a relatively low-stress environment. In a real tournament (and especially an EVO one), he would have choked hard.
Reminder that Phil thinks he has "good public-speaking skills" and "does well around crowds" because he attended tournaments and is a live-streamer, even though the former has his back to everyone most of the time and the latter involves talking to a camera

Yes, because the man who is terrified of any human-interaction and snorts/burps constantly when in front of an audience thinks he does well around crowds and can speak publicly :story:

I am convinced if any of those guys had given Phil the beating he deserved at that point he might have changed for the better.
I like to imagine in the event of Phil getting beaten irl, he would still be spouting his usual excuses out of force of habit. "I WAS BLAHKING"

If this fucker says "we're investigating a double murder" one more time I swear to god...

The fucking autism with the "double murder" is off the charts. First I thought it was him trying to hype a boring game but he is legitimately obsessed by this Anime Scooby Doo game.

I bet he even told Kat about the double murder and she rolled her eyes and said "nobody cares"

Phil mentioned during the prestream, before finally addressing the $100 tip he had been sitting on for 20 minutes from AndreTheDJ, that UltimateLurker verified their PayPal account, apologized for not having done so before, and tipped Phil overnight with a nice message. Phil very obviously avoided saying the amount. This person apparently tried to tip the other day and was unverified, so Phil had to refund it at the time. Does anyone recall how much this guy originally tried to tip?

I suspect Phil just hid upwards of $100. It's one thing to not put it on the leaderboard, but it's legitimately a scam not to say the amount when you just said that you are trying to raise 'a certain amount' to pay bills by next Friday. If you're trying to raise that certain amount, then you can be transparent. Unless you're deliberately moving goalposts and don't want to be seen doing it, but that's become standard procedure for Phil.

He just wants free shit like super blind man.
He's been a champion of social justice and accesibility tools for nerds and retards since he saw SBM gets paid for that shit.
Speaking of SBM, while i appreciate what he tries to do as far as accessibility his stream is hot garbage. It's just text to speech in the worst voice.

Or.......just wear the glasses that you are supposed to be wearing to begin with.

Wasn't there a $200 tip he alleged was fake?
Why yes.......yes there was on Tuesday

DSP said that he "just learned" that if the room is red on the map, it means there is an item.

Are you fukin retarded?

He played RE2RE, RE3RE, RE7 and now RE8... this was always true. HE DIDNT KNOW? YOU GOTTA BE SHITTING ME.
Bonus round: he was likely paid by someone to learn that.

It's like teaching your inexperienced younger sibling how to beat a game, except they're retarded and despite playing similar games to the one they're playing now, they don't pay attention to any of those reminders that pop up during the game.
