when was the last time we had a fundraiser event? It feels like it’s been a while, DSP is legit the only person I’ve ever seen promote a fundraiser to pay his basic bills....

EVERY DSP stream since I began watching him in mid 2017 is a fundraising stream. I’d even call his entire existence on the internet a fundraiser to an extent from the demanding to click ads on his YT videos to the bs now.

I’m honestly shocked he’s considered dropping SF as it’s the only thing he looks halfway competent in. I caught some of his SF stream last night and he was on a little run of beating some people in the lobby. No one likes anyone playing scrubs and running from anyone halfway decent calling them detractors. It’s boring but he’s too much of a pussy to play anyone in fightcade while also being so thin skinned that he can’t admit he loses a match due to the other player outplaying him. His SF streams are perfect representations of a skinny fat gimp version of rain man if he wandered into a arcade. He’d play against the children but would clam up the moment a functioning adult would ask to play.

I want to point out, as a fellow capekino/capepaper player, that his account is more whaled out than maxed out. He has lots of stuff, don't get me wrong, but the way it's "maxed out" is, to put it simply, wrong.

So basically Phil treats his virtual collections the same way he treats his actual collections. Quite shocking, obviously...

I'm guessing it's a combination of his upbringing or some kind of mental disorder.

It's definitely both. I've yet to see any evidence that Phil harbors any resentment towards his parents for raising him so poorly, like so many other people with problems do. He just genuinely does not understand that it isn't normal to be pushing 30 and not have rotated the cushions around on a fucking couch before. We've all made our mistakes, we've all developed bad habits that die hard, we've all thought things that were just plain wrong and/or stupid/nonsensical. What sets Phil apart is the lack of recognition of what his upbringing did to him. He will never see how much of a severe case of arrested development he is. He's just going to keep being one forever, because at some point, he formed a hardened shell around his identity, and now there's no re-wiring him. There's no un-fucking what Ma and Pa Burnell fucked up, because he won't let anyone or anything do some work on him.

I have just got back from my brothers and he was watching a Dark Souls 2 streamer, I don't normally watch Twitch but this guy only had about 300ish subs and was doing it full-time apparently and not once did he mention money, bills or tips, he was polite and thanked anyone who subbed, he was the complete polar opposite of DSP. I honestly thought how DSP acts on Twitch is how everyone acted I can see how bad he is now.

Phil is absolutely the exception to every rule in how he acts. He legit begs harder than the thots on twitch.

there are so many streamers/YouTubers that do what Phil does for a living that make less and are better at it than him that pretty much never discuss money.

it’s why people here shit on Phil so hard, one look at his peers and it’s amazing how hard his grift, it’s legit one of the most disgusting things on Twitch and shouldn’t be allowed.

he said the new king of fighters is a definite buy....but then he also said the new game is bringing back a lot of the characters from when he played...I’m not really into king of fighters but from what I’ve seen most of the reveals so far have been series mainstays, he made it sound like a SF3 situation where half the casts went missing for a few games or something but that doesn’t seem to be the case...

That's because, and I can actually understand why, Phil still has reason to think he can hold onto his way of life. He doesn't want anything to change, and as of yet, not enough has happened to give such an idiot as him pause in that regard. His retards are giving him a shit ton of money right now, and though it's a mistake to assume that will continue forever, it takes more than the possibility of the floor collapsing for Phil to see that his lifestyle is over. It has to actually collapse. He can't just lose his safety net of Twitch checks, he has to lose them AND fail to bring in enough tips, and for quite some time, for it to finally sink in that all hope is gone. He'll still want things to go back to the way they were, nothing can kill that in him, but after enough failure, even Phil can stop believing in that dream.

Unless I'm wrong, in which case he's fucking crazier than the homeless guys you see walking around screaming at people who don't exist.

Yes, and don't forget that Phil is on camera playing an offline SF game, blaming a loss on it "running at the wrong speed". After messing up and saying that there is lag.

Phil knows that he's making shit up, and doesn't care that he's obvious. There is a reason, after all, why he claims that he can parry Chun-Li's entire Super Art 2 (as in the one Justin Wong tried to end Daigo with at EVO 2004, only to wind up witnessing fighting game history), saying that it's actually really easy to do, yet provides no footage of him doing it.

I know he's capable of living a semi-normal (fucking relatively speaking) kind of life but like many others have pointed out - that Vest Streak absolutely destroyed any sense this man might have had. Just go look at a random stream from like 2018/19 and he's content with 500 subs and like $40 in tips with a top cheer at like 500.

And I couldn't read all the pages and so I was skimming.... Did we find him on another mobile game? I know there have been a ton of other farmers theorizing other games but I always thought that Kat has like 4+ mobile games that she dumps ungodly amounts of money into.

Twitch has EXPLODED in popularity since whenever the roach joined. I had taken a long ass break from it and couldn't believe some of the numbers people were pulling. Phil indirectly benefitted from that. So, while that is definitely part of it, I'll always believe it was the $30,000+ in the matter of months that just fucked him cause he was too retarded to save any of it.

I think the vest contributed to something else. You cannot forget how much people that naysay Phil live rent free in his head. Anytime he has had a setback, he has HAD to find a situation that either exceeds his previous position or appears to. ANY back slide is proof to him that the people that criticize him might be right and he can't allow that.

His Corolla (no matter how the good the car might be in reality) can never too his BMW in his former circle's eyes so he never shows it.
YouTube revenue had to be replaced by Twitch revenue.
A lost Twitch revenue source has to be replaced by a greater one.
Significantly younger permanent live in girlfriend has to be replaced by wife. The audience dunks on Kat's appearance by comparison to Panda, so he never shows Kat off.

All of this is due to his fear of appearing like someone else is right. He cannot be wrong. He cannot appear to have lost standing.
