The concept of "front line combat" has limited utility. In the early phases of a war, when you have big maneuver units overrunning a country and killing everything in their way, you can draw a big FLOT across the map and say "no girls allowed." After the initial invasion, combat becomes nonlinear and noncontiguous. No more front line, except in a very tenuous sense, like those quantum particles that pop in and out of existence. And then there's those weirdos who fly around in airplanes and sail around in boats, they're combatants too. Some of them go beyond the FLOT, or their concept of warfare doesn't even have one. So you need a more granular way of determining who's eligible for which jobs. Or you could say "no women in war or any place or vehicle that could ever be attacked, ever," but I don't think that'll get much support.
And the public doesn't really give a shit about the women who die, just like they don't give a shit about the men who die. It's just a number for the media to report when there's a Republican President. So I say register them all for Selective Service, and when the next big WW happens, make them useful.

We had a combat Barbie that was hooking on deployment. She got caught because she ran out of places to hide her cash during gear inspections. Our maintenance officer was telling people it was in the hundreds of thousands, but because some higher up brass in the Navy and Corps were her clients, she was given a quiet flight home and we were threatened with punishment if we kept talking about it.
I hated serving with women on deployments. You're lucky if 1 in 100 of them are anything but malingerers and mattress weights. They skate responsibility as every level but get pushed through the ranks extremely quickly because it's good PR to have women on promotion boards. They end up in a position of power they don't deserve and can't handle only to turn into a massive clique forming cunt. They seem to know exactly when shit is about to hit the fan and get instantly pregnant. A pregnant woman in the military is fucking untouchable. They don't have to do shit, are immune to a shitload of orders from superiors due to their specials status, and are provided significantly better pay and living conditions once they have a dependent. It's pretty disillusioning for a teenager that's been fed gender equality his whole life. Get all of them out sooner than later. If the DoD had a 1% success rate on any other investment with extremely negative returns, they would use it as target practice for bombing runs.

Fuck, that's fucking sad. I got lucky and I'd say 3/5 of the female troops were worth a damn. If they weren't orderly room queens they were usually cool, especially the ones in the motorpool and in the medical support.
Our Conex Queen was more "package of Oreos and a Pepsi for straight condom PiV" type. She was lazy, spoiled, and was always first to get to shower, God love her.

I've known two women in tech who were worth shit, over my career. One of them was taller than me and autistic as fuck, the other was fat and retired, and got into software dev because she was bored, but had a knack for it. Every other woman I dealt with was either a HR manager out of her depth, or a grifter just looking for an excuse to claim harassment.

Yes but think of the benefits of drafting a baby soon as it's born. You can discipline the mother or father (if he can be found) if it turns into a fuck up.
But I'm joking about making them join the marines. It would be better to use them in the navy. Babies are tiny. Can be used to crawl into all sorts of books and crannies. Imagine the ease of repairs and clearing out the bilge. Not sure if the same can be said of the air force
