I'm not sure commies are more individually deranged than Qtards (Lin Wood sounds like he's literally mentally ill), but there seem to be a lot more of them. Because communists are most common in certain urban centres, they can easily gather to riot in one place.

Running on an ideology of anything close to anarcho-capitalism won't get you anywhere. Moderation is the only way to go for them.
If they aren't extreme then there's no reason to ever vote for them. They LP is so fucking bland and boring, and with the presidential candidates they keep nominating I'm always ashamed to consider myself a (small l) libertarian.
If both political parties were "moderate," they may as well be one big uniparty.

Which is exactly what they are. Can any one name a serious difference between any 2 leading Western political parties? Not even against each other, in any two countries would be fine.
Republicans want child drag pageants 5 years from now, Democrats want them now. Time is really the only practical difference.
Not sure it's so much wanting them, as don't want to be ostracized for not allowing them or being too weak. After a few years of pop culture telling everyone it's ok, they want to be part of the cool kids club, so they go along with it.
This is where the elected officials/voters divide really comes in hard, though. At the level of voters, no one wants child drag shows, regardless of whether they put their ballot in for R or D every couple of years. Even the state of California wouldn't vote to stage one if it were some kind of ballot measure. Remember affirmative action lost by double digits there last year, despite Biden carrying the state +29.
