If he just dumped it all at once... what's to stop someone from pledging immediately after, downloading everything and backing out? Really, is there anything? 'Cause I'd feel kind of embarrassed if I just offhandedly out-logiced a guy way older than me on something I know nothing about.
I guess the implication is that the artwork goes up for the one day that Patrons are charged, then he immediately takes it down so that "haters" and "trolls" don't steal them?

I mean... Dobson is perfectly fine with people everywhere being able to appreciate his art so long as you pay him for it.

I'd say Dobson should just cut out the middleman and just sell his goddamn artwork since he's obviously in this business to be paid, but he'd lose all of his income because SYAC still uses a lot of copyrighted material and no one gives a fuck about Alex ze Pirate because it's more bland and boring than Naruto-Sasuke slash fiction.

He spent all that time tweeting and is considering dumping his art in a lump sum
But that doesn't solve his problem. People still can donate to see/downland his art and then withdraw their support before they have to pay. In fact it makes it much easier to do it. They only have to support him less than an hour now in order to see all his "art". The only downside is we will get a massive shit dump to sort through once a month

I'm loving the sight of this wannabe artist who wasted years of his life at an art school learning jack shit sobbing about how he can't extract money out of the only people willing to throw money at him so he doesn't have to get a job. And how his plan to rip out his pound of money won't work at all.

Hank Hill's face is making me sad.

Not a fan of the cat mouth, or the stiffest fucking stand I've ever seen outside of a police lineup or a character design.

Why does "Hank" have the proportions of a dwarf? Why does his face look nothing like Hank's? There is a freely available King of the Hill style guide online. Why would you not use it?
Oh, right, Dobson.

It's terrible, but it's a nice break from lesbians, blue bear and splatoon.
Yeah, at least he isn't drawing lesbians or his blue fursona bear. Still, one can point out the problems within that drawing like say, a lack of background or how the joke isn't really funny especially since the fire salts aren't sold unless you were an alchemist it would of made for sense to have Dale Gribble in hooded monk robes making conspiracies about the Thalmor.

1) What the fuck is wrong with his face?

2) Skyrim blacksmiths don't sell fucking fire salts.

3) That is Nord Mead, not fucking Fire Salts.

smh How do you screw up fanart this badly?
3) should be more of why is Hank a blacksmith. Seriously, how could Hank fit as a blacksmith? As far as working with tools went, he'd be more of a lumber mill worker in cutting wood or being a carpenter (he did make a shed and he did teach a shop class in an episode).

Depends. As someone else said, people from Japan would tell you anime characters look japanese to them - especially since the 'Big eyes mall mouth' isn't a "make them look more western" thing, it just follows the basic notion of cuteness. I guess a reason why both europeans and japanese can identify with them alike is the fact that oftentimes, the design allows self-insertion since it's pretty much a 'blank slate'.
But I guess we're slowly spiraling out of topic, so I'll just leave it at that.
I've heard the blank slate thing before, but there's a reason it doesn't really work with Anime. To keep it short: at the top of the eyes, where the eyelid is, on both western and Asian eyes the curve of the eye is not even. In Asian eyes, the peak of the curve is away from the nose. On Western eyes, the peak is closer to the nose.

Now look at your typical anime eyes.

Anime eyes that look more Asian would be this:

So technically, yes, anime is filled with white people. Dobson's actually right, there. But it's filled with white people because the Japanese want to make their characters look white. They choose to do that. There's no white supremacy or white privilege or whatever to make them do that. They just think white people are pretty, so when they make characters look pretty, they make 'em look white.

Hank Hill's face is making me sad.

I don't know what freaks me the fuck out about Hank's face here more, the weird three-hump mouth (it's not even a cat mouth, it's some weird beak), or the fact that his eyes are too close to the sides of his head like he's part chameleon.
